Interior Design ... it's very fun, and I'm enjoying the curriculum, I just don't really care for Pittsburgh. With the kids now staying with their father for a few months, this is the best time for me to make a physical move.

I'm not a good still life drawer but I am very good at techical drawing which is what my job is designing buildings and doing all the working details all on CAD. yet I can't paint or draw a shoe very well, buildings I am perfect at.

Interior designers need a good art skill and also the ability to blend colours and materials well. We work with a few for some of the hotel projects we do I love the modern type of interior design and have recently finished a college students union with some great industrial interior design (the building converted was an old machine factory) Working the ID's we crtainly mad it a great atmosphere, the students love it. stainless steel mesh bar front, exposed ventilation and plumbing pipework, wall grills, exposed brickwork, checquer plate flooring around the bar and a large recycled timber dance floor with state fo the art lighting, the whole roof structure with its old cast iron trusses and tie rods are all here to be seen.

I work in design as well... designing ways to move cargo from Japan to the US. It gets pretty redundant at times. Anyway, where'd the character info under the names go?!

Well, I was doodling in a lined notebook today, when I realised I should just take a few stacks of printer paper, a hole puncher, and another binder and shove that in to my backpack next time I get the urge to draw.

I'll go ahead and try to reproduce my musings on my Wacom (by hand, again).

BTW, I was doodling the sketch for a Kemonomimi (Usagimimi, to be exact), and I found something interesting I could do with the ears if I wanted to do something more Canine or Feline. Interesting how practicing one thing can lead you to stumble upon another.

I mean, I'm pretty sure the people of the Civil-War-ish era weren't that limited on imagination.

It was once all called Oregon Territory; why they had to split it up and call the new state "Washington," when I'm pretty sure the people in charge of the naming were well aware of the Capital, is beyond me.

Same reason almost every town in the USA has at least one or two other towns with the same or a similar name.
