Yeah, and then try taking all that stuff and actually make it happen in the real. Dealing with contractors, workers and suppliers is gonna kill you.

Yeah and they can be right barstewards sometimes and you have to really put your foot down. not forgetting clients who want everything and think they can get it really cheap "Beacause my next door neighbour says it shouldn't ost that much, hes a retaired builder... Oh when did he retire?..... 15 years ago." hmm as if prices are the same now as 15 years ago......

Can we get rid of that wall? You mean the one supporting the roof? Is it? well I'm sure it will stay up. No you will need a beam and an engineer to design it.... O my frined said that roof will be ok. what does you friend do? Oh hes an accountant.

And these are not made up.. I have thousands of them. I just wish people will let me do the job and ADVISE THEM not my friend knows better liek we alwways get.

I've had that happen before Feba, client ignored advise, phoned up in a frantic manner saying can you get the engineer down the roof is tiling. On investigation they took the wall down we said "don't take down". It cost them 4 times as much to sort it out as the beam would have cost.

I've had a client who thought his roof could levitate after he told me what he wanted to do with the building. In our country as well as yours, it seems the common sense gene has disapeared from existance these days.

And how could I forget about clients? Specially annoying are the ones who want to change everything at the last moment after all the materials and equipment have been already ordered and shipped.
