Official bored at work / just shooting the shit / no rails to derail thread
If we don't like something, collectively, if our hatred for it throbs like an abscess beneath every thread, does that mean that they're doing something right?

As hard as it may be, don't take this game or your characters too seriously. I promise you - the guys that really own your account don't.
I've been playing Luminous Arc a lot lately on my DS. It's a good game and a lot like what FFTA should have been without the judges. A *lot* of voice action in that game, a lot more than I thought they'd pack in a DS game, and a damn good opening anime/music sequence.
I actually liked the judges, it made the repeated battlefields feel less generic, plus its nigh impossible to reproduce the geopanel or summoning circle systems Makai Wars cooked up without looking like outright copycatting, so I think the Judge system was a creative way to randomizing the fields a bit.
I'm currently without a DS, but want to get a DS Lite soon, Luminous Arc looks wonderful and most of Atlus' entries on the DS have been excellent so far.
Nintendo snuck in Advance War 4 for fourth quarter this year too, so that's going to be all the reason I need to get back on board with DS, not to mention Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations.
I'll probably get a PSP later this year and buy FFT: The Lion War for it, but I seriously doubt I'd play it since I've been playing the original version on and off recently. New Jobs are Holy Knight and Dark Knight... um... yay? Those were already in the game, they were just CPU driven, they're not new jobs at all.
However, if the PSP version lets me actually skip all the melodrama I've already seen when I start over a level, that might be reason enough to play the PSP version over the original. That was the one reason I liked FFTA more, the story was such throwaway tripe I could get on with the battles, Marche actually shut up most of the time. Ramza and Delita can't go through a level without throwing an emo queen fit.
BTW, Wishmaster, I am not angry. I have fury. There's a difference >.>

lol That's a simple one. I've got a better one somewhere...
BAH! Photobucket's being a tard at work. I'll have to post it when I get home.
EDIT: AW4? Oh snap! I'm still not done with AW3. T.T Such a good series too. I want to find people to play against, though. So lonly out here without another AW player out here, and for the life of me, I can't figure out why my DS WiFi wireless USB thing won't work (more specifically, the install program keeps running into problems), so I can't get online with my DS for Mario Kart or much else. T.T

LMAO BBQ.
LMAO. Well played. It shall be appended accordingly.

My little brother (just turned 9 this august) bought Luminous Arc. O_o said he almost beat it, or he did. Idk, i can't understand him most of the time. Kid is too damn smart. I just gave him my copy of Megaman (I bought Leo for myself and Dragon for him) and let him go nuts with it.
Little deviant is actually also pretty good at Elite Beat Agents, but not as good as me.
Kids these days. I swear he's going to be smarter and a better gamer than me. Then I'll have to play my Big Brother card and jack him up everyone once and then.
So help me if he keeps doing martial arts. He'll probably get bigger than me >_>
Gotta jack him up before he hits 14 and sprouts up.

FTFY.
Holy crap, on time to work, and I get to take a half-day today, not bad! Need to go get new contacts since I managed to break my glasses and lose a contact, now I go by One-Eye. Need to see by the time Halo comes out >.>
Anyways, my employers are more clever than I gave them credit for. I thought they weren't very savvy since they have very loose web filters that let me play on all my FFXI forums while at work. Little did I realize their ploy. They just make sure our internet is so blindingly slow and crappy that the employees trying to do something other than work just give up and go back to work. Well played, sirs.
