Ok, look. Starbucks sucks. I don't know what they do to their beans, but they either over roast and burn them, or their machines are set wrong or they rape their coffee bean plants but the end every damn cup comes out bitter, from their light to their dark coffees.

I don't ruin my taste drinking Starbucks. Unfortunately I can't go to the coffee places I used to because they don't exist down here and I haven't found a good replacement

If you absolutely have to drink at Starbucks, the only thing decent there is their Chai Tea.

actually come to think of it, in addition to coffee I've never had beer, tea, and I don't think I've ever had orange juice.


I tried green tea once, but it just tasted like water with a bunch of dirt in it.

I don't mind green tea, it's nice for detoxing after a long night out. I try not to drink beer before noon, but on bad days I do sometimes go have a couple on my lunch break. Makes for an interesting afternoon, especially in meetings. I'm also pretty fond of vitaminwater!

I gave up Starbucks and now get all of my coffee locally at this little shop that roasts all of their beans on site, and in small batches. That means that the coffee is incredibly fresh, and it's so good that I don't even have to put sugar or creamer in it (something that I've tried, but never been able to manage with SB coffee, since it is so over-roasted). And it only costs $1.75.

On Saturday a friend and I stopped by and they had this blend called Chocolate Cream. I don't know how they got it to taste like that (roasting it with chocolate I guess), but my god was it tasty. I had it in Cafe Au Lait form in the morning, and then when we came back that afternoon I just got it straight.

Damn it, now I want some more, but it's not on the flavor list today. And I can't make coffee at home to save my life.

VitaminWater is wierd.. To some people it tastes like nothing, but to others it's the best thing in the world.
