The way Armondo posted it:

Acc +10 is +5% hit rate boost. This could improve your damage by 5.6 to 8.3% depending on whether your hit rate is closer to 90% or 60% (60 was chosen sort of arbitrarily, but if your hit rate is lower than that I'd say you might as well not melee.)

DW+3% will increase your DPS 4.16% at level 90 with just DWIII, 4.5% if you tack on Suppanomimi. DW+3% may result in a slight TP gain, Accuracy+10 is sure to increase your TP rate by whatever amount it's also boosting your DPS. Accuracy+10 is made useless if you're above 90% hit rate without it, DW+3% is undesirable if you've got enough Haste to reach the 80% delay reduction cap (since you could replace the DW with Haste for better TP.) Accuracy will help you with physical WS, DW+ won't.

Tl;dr Accuracy is better unless you're at the hit rate cap.

In other news, I am frustrated again. I made three phone calls today in regards to jobs I had applied for, spoke to all three companies' HR departments, and was told by all three companies that the position had already been filled.

Then why the hell is it still listed on your website?

Granted, I waited a couple days after applying before calling, but even after checking the status of my application on their website and seeing that it was still showing as "received" and not "filled" or "not selected," I thought it would be reasonably safe to assume that the position was still available.

This is bullshit. I can't believe companies are allowed to do this kind of shit.

Another change of subject question. I have a friend, claimed his phone was "fucking up" about a week ago, which is the last time I've heard from him. I've texted a couple times since, nothing major just kind of a "what's up" thing. I don't know if the phone is fucked up or not, honestly, I haven't seen him in a few weeks now. Though I have noted he is a bit of a phone killer, so it's possible.

I have Saturday off, Game 1 of Lightning vs Boston is at 8PM and I'd love to go out, drink heavily, and obnoxiously root for the local hockey team in the playoffs. Do I call and find out what's up? Do I facebook message? Or do I text knowing that he may possibly not be receiving texts and then get disappointed when I hear nothing?

I'm so bad at friends. Maybe this is why I have so few.

Also, it doesn't help that I try way too hard to act like I'm not trying to be like the "overly annoying calls too much girl." Even without trying to get in this guy's pants, either. There's no interest that way, I just wonder if I'm being pushy if I call someone and be all like, "Hey, haven't heard from you, what's up?" Is that pushy? Is that me being annoying?

Yggdrasil is actually a step above me, believe it or not.

Tl;dr Accuracy is better unless you're at the hit rate cap.

I read this and all I could think about was: "Why do people always say 'Tl;dr'? What does that mean?"

Aks - I say don't rely on the friend in regards to going out & having a good time. Find a place where you'd like to go drink & obnoxiously root for the Lightning. Let your friend know you'll be there & that you'll see him if he shows up & won't see him if he doesn't. If you don't expect him to show, you won't be disappointed if he doesn't -- but you'll be happy if he does.

I had to learn that lesson with a flaky friend years ago. Once I figured out that the flakiness was part of his personality & that it wasn't anything I should take personally, I became way less stressed.

In theory that's a good idea, I just really don't like going anywhere like that by myself. First of all, drinking + driving is something I don't do, second of all, I'm very wary and distrustful of strangers, especially in a bar setting. I wouldn't have any fun because I'd be way too wary of everyone who tries to talk to me. At least if I go somewhere with someone, I feel like I have that person to kind of lean on.

I guess it's some sort of social anxiety disorder? Not sure, I just know that going alone usually doesn't end well for me.
