I was browsing on facebook and decided to look at my ex-husband's profile. We're not friends, never will be. Our kids are my friends, his sisters and brother are my friends, but not him. He's friends with my mom, but not me. Etc. So I took a look and of course some of the info is hidden, which is fine. But I noticed at the top of his profile where it says languages, it says, "Speaks English, Spanish, and Mexican."

I /facepalmed. Then again, this is the same guy who think that because Americans and Brits speak the same language but somewhat differently, we should differentiate. When we were stationed in Germany, he would always ask people, "Sprechen sie American?" Which they of course had no idea how to answer because that's not a valid language. The language is English. The language in Mexico is Spanish. I get that Mex Spanish and Spain Spanish and Puerto Rican Spanish and Cuban Spanish are all different, but they're still called Spanish. Dumbass.

And yes, putting him down does make me feel better about myself. Friday morning affirmation: At least I am smarter than my ex.

Which I guess isn't all that hard, but laughing at how stupid he is definitely makes my days brighter.

Has anyone ever been to a Teavana store?

Just curious, they're hiring in my area and i'm kinda curious what the customer experience there is like. My return to retail in Gamestop has been a fairly zen experience so far and this place just sounds like it could let me go back and forth between that and remain pretty chill. Hot teas are one of those "happy place" things for me, too.

Quick Question about Cataure.

I recall getting a CS at the Maw for Grauberg the day after I had participated in killing the Mega Boss of that zone. The CS went basically the same way as the Mega Boss CS' you recieve at the Maws went... I got a glimpse of the NM, a little bla bla bla from the NPC and it was over. This one I remember featured a Catuare. I'm not sure if I need to "flag" the Cataure NMs the way you do for the Mega Bosses, do I? Or is it just as simple as collecing the titles that you get for killing each individual one?

Wallet Of Holding - Television Tropes & Idioms

This is starting to bug me. I've been crawling through TV Tropes lately and there's a section there for MMORPGs, so why the hell is FFXI listed under Role Playing games? It's still a fucking MMO. And it's not just this page, there have been a few others. I want to know who the fuck is putting FFXI under RPG and not MMO. I'll read under the MMO section looking for specific examples from FFXI because I expect them to be there, and only when I scroll down and start reading the RPG section do I find it, after I've pretty much expected it to not be there because it wasn't where it was supposed to be. GRRRR.

And no, I'm not going to edit it myself. Creating a username and learning the syntax is far too much work for me. But on a site that prides itself on being mostly savvy about shit like this, it's annoying the crap out of me that FFXI keeps getting classified wrong.

I was not frustrated to no end. My ability to manage my inventory space was adequate enough to prevent any frustration.

Also, most of those tropes are rediculous. They misrepresent the game just to fit it into a trope.

buddy picked up a 3DS, let me play a round of Super Monkey Ball on it.

The line up here is absolute shit, looks like the NA market at least gets that better. But the thing is a damned impressive piece of technology.
