I texted like six people to try to find something to do, no one was available (two were out of town, one didn't even answer), so I just logged in to WoW and watched some reruns of Tosh.0. I can see this year is going to be incredible already. -.-

I completely missed the countdown lol I was switching between my toons to send my alt some mats to level her leatherworking. Haha.

Not to mention the fact that I didn't even have the correct channel on. Like I said, reruns of Tosh.0. So yeah, no ball drop for me. Seen one, seen em all I suppose.

LOL The only reason I knew it was going to be midnight is because I have to take my meds at midnight. I've been watching cable on my iPad via Slingbox and anime on my laptop while playing Y's: Oath of Felghana on my PSP. Ah....a Geeky New Years to everyone! lol

It snowed at our house yesterday -- for hours! I've lived in SoCal since 1975, and this is the first time I've seen measurable snow without having to go to the mountains.

The snow turned to rain before midnight & now almost all of the snow is gone. At least we didn't have to worry about icy roads for the drive to work this morning.

Very Bad Mood left today, although Moments of Panic set in when my truck wouldn't start this morning. Called a friend and he came out and helped me replace the battery. (Yay, a friend I can depend on!)

And just a bit ago, someone complimented me on my tights. Yes, today is a Relatively Good Day after all. The hug from my friend did wonders for me, honestly. I really needed that.

I am so sick of my job today. I am so tired of doing this same fucking shit. I liked my old job because it wasn't mind-numbingly repetitive. When I was given a job description, I was led to believe it was not repetitive as all hell and that I wouldn't hate it, which was one of the criteria I was looking for.

It's also too far, I'm coming to learn. I really hate my commute.

Been here just under two months and I really can't stand being here anymore. Which is why I'm posting on the forums instead of doing work (which we do have for a change). I just don't care.

What's sad is for all the foruming I do, my numbers are higher than anyone else's. /Sigh.

To clarify, I'm still in a better frame of mind than I was last week, but I'm beginning to see what's really crushing me, aside from the lonliness, this job and the drive to and from are killing me slowly and painfully.

What's worse is I know it's going to get hot soon in a couple of months, and with no AC, the commutes just suck the life out of me even more. Back at my last job, we didn't work past three on most days, but on the days we did, it sucked to drive home in the heat. I'd just get home and peel my soaking clothes off of me and step right in the shower. (Hell, even on the regular days when the drive wasn't that bad I'd still be a sweaty mess, I just didn't have to suffer through it as long.)

Then again, the truck has been ornery lately. I know I'm going to have to replace Beast soon, so I may end up with AC sooner than I think. I'll have to see what I get in terms of a tax return.

Have to pay a friend back, he works at the mall. I am meeting another friend who works near the mall for dinner. Yay, I like having real life plans. Lol.

This week has been harsh, no site manager this week so I have to open up at 6:30am which means up at 5am. Still have anoying flatmates who are loud and can;t get rid of due to joint tennancy >.< I hope to sleep all weekend 6:30am-5pm is a long time on site and with 4 hours sleep each night....
