I had a friend tell me they couldn't stand watching NCIS because the crimes were so predictable. Thing is, I don't really watch it for the crimes/mysteries. I like the characters. My favorite episodes are the ones that delve into the characters' pasts, or their current state of mind. I love watching them develop. The latest murdered Marine? Not so much. Some of the cases are all right, but really, that's not why I tune in.

And yes, before you even ask, I am most definitely a Tiva shipper.

On another note entirely, I have dyed my hair. Out with the red, in with the black. It was time for a change.

I really don't have any idea what my hair looks like if I were to leave it completely untouched and let it grow out fully.

I got used to not doing anything and have found ways to stave off the boredom. Now they expect me to come in to work and actually do stuff and that's just not cool man.

I'm on lunch at the moment, and someone else brought even more work. Wtf. So we have three weeks of fucksquat to do, and then we get slammed for one day. I'd be willing to bet there won't be shit tomorrow, either. How does this make any sense?

We had a holiday lunch at work today (for which I had to come in an hour early). It was BBQ from this popular local restaurant. I am not a fan, so I had as little as possible. Now my boss is insisting I have cheesecake, but I am staying strong.

Meanwhile, Tuesday is our busiest day, and we just wasted two hours "socializing" instead of working. Lame.

NCIS is awesome! Gibbs....RAWR! I saw the previews for tonights episode and it made me LOL so I'm looking forward to it! And its actually one show that my husband and son will actually watch with me and not piss and moan.

I watch the CSI's too but the original one is the only one worth watching now. I CAN NOT STAND DAVID CARUSO IN CSI: MIAMI!! And CSI: NY is more palatable than Miami but is still going down in flames, imo.

sat at home its 8pm, I'm still working, doing 1 more hour then 3 episodes of NCIS back to back with a mug of hot chocolate and snuggling up in my slanket preparing for tomorrows meeting. Finished xmas shopping now so jsut got to get this week and next out of teh way before a weeks break.

So amongst other topics in an odd Skype call last night, Feba asked his lady-friend what was up with a particularly creepy photo she'd randomly mailed off recently. Apparently she hadn't realized how creepy it was. So what was the occasion? "I thought you wanted photos of me".

Now, this is not bad. What is bad is when she then proceeds to ask three or four times "Don't you want pictures of me?". Which gives me the option between "Yes (because I'm creepy as fuck)", and "No (because I hate you and am a dick)". Women, why on earth do you insist on asking questions with no right answers?

Naturally, being Feba, I took the third option to the yes or no question. I paused for a second, summoned up my most over the top Japanese, and said (approximately) "The real thing is better than any photograph". This got an impressed sound and the subject dropped. But seriously, other than gaijin smashing my way through the problem, what the fuck was I supposed to do.
