Na, the city handled that before it went to the cities water supply. Bottled water is pretty much a sham if you believe it's any cleaner then clean tap water. Unless they carbonate it, they haven't done much other then fill some bottles up.

The best thing about bottled water is that you can get water almost anywhere if you get thirsty.

Guess that's yet another reason (for me) not to go to the US, I'm probably too paranoid to survive drinking tap water without feeling sick.

I never pay for bottled water. I can get all the water I want out of my faucet for under twenty bucks a month. Compared to spending a dollar (or more) because it's in a bottle? Get real. It's such a rip-off, and honestly I can't believe people fall for it.

Except that tap water is usually really damn clean, held to standards, and about the best form of liquid for drinking you're going to find.

Tell west Texas that. I think you actually get a daily serving of protein from the tap water here.

And yes, I would agree bottled water isn't any better than tap water in most places, but here you can taste it. Its like fish in liquid form.

Don't think of it as "City provided water", think of it as "Holy fuck, they have bottled water on all their lines!". Bars have beer taps; every home in the US has a Bottled Water tap, etc.

On a side note, bottled water needs to be outlawed, with only one exception: Bottles sold at cost (or more reasonably so the industry doesn't die, at some very small amount above the cost of the bottle, say %300), filled at the POS. It takes a ridiculous amount of fuel to fill bottles and transport them to shops, when the water quality is often no higher, or even lower.

Just got back from my job interview, and I think it went fairly well. She asked me a lot of really tough questions, some that I really had to think about for a minute there, but I did come up with some pretty strong answers. I'm glad I had the military background, because it provided a lot of question fodder. Lol. I felt very overdressed, though: my interviewer was very pregnant, and was wearing jeans and a t-shirt; and I was wearing a business suit. But that's how you dress for an interview. I'm guessing that at least means the atmosphere is pretty business-casual, as my last employer was, which is good, because I can't afford to expand my wardrobe. Lol.

The place is further away from where I live, but I'll deal. A job is a job. Sure I'd prefer someplace closer, but I'll take what I can get, right?

So now the best I can do is follow up, and then wait and see.
