The way you post all the time you make yourself sound so old. When in reality you're barely even old enough to have been a grandmother for that long!
Relatively recently (like, about a month ago or so), my father's mother (my cool grandmother) had passed. Liver failure, something going critically wrong with one of her medications or something, I don't know exactly. She always had such energy and enthusiasm about her - she was one of those people for whom age seemed little more than a technicality. She was more than 80 years old, though if you saw her you wouldn't think she aged a day past 60.
Then again, my other grandmother (the one from Tennessee - that really says all I have to say about her) is about 5 years older than my father, but has been a grandmother for at least a decade longer than you have, so I guess you're not the most extreme case I've heard of . . .
