I try to get up early every day. Early-ish. Monday - Friday it's before 6:30, weekends it's around 8. If I get up late, I stay up late, and then I'm fucked up for Monday morning. I didn't think after playing XI and being in a PST linkshell that I'd really ever be a "day person" again, but I am. Weird, I know.

Getting up that early actually works out for me, I like the early morning and early evening times. The lighting during the dawn and twilight hours is incredible, as is the quality and feel of the air.

Bah, now I am annoyed.

I am cautiously optimistic that I'll be hired that I am now starting to look into the things I would want to do with a place if I owned a house and property. One of those things was raising deer and elk for eating, pleasure, and possibly selling of excess.

Washington State does not allow the farming of deer and elk.

Bah I say! Bah!

Time to research this further however, what do they mean by "farming"? While I had my heart set on deer/elk, do reindeer fall under this category? Etc etc.

Given that my normal sleep schedule is something like sleep @3 am, get up at 10-2 (wildly variable, I know)... I actually get really excited when I wake up at 6 or so and find myself unable to go back to sleep. Those are the perfect hours to start an RPG. A close runner up is right when it's your normal bed time (like when I had a 1st shift job and slept at 10 pm like a normal person, starting a new RPG at midnight on a weekend is amazing). I suggest you try it.

I go to bed between 12-4 am and get up at 5-7 am. I wish there was a pill you could take so you never had to sleep....that wouldn't kill you.

Ok, off the current subject but.....

Don't you hate it when you haven't talked to someone for years, and I'm talking 11 years here, and they just show up on your doorstep. This happened to me today, an old neighbor popped in on their birthday to rekindle our friendship. I knew this person very well. I am a caretaker and did many things for them. I even saved their life once. They were a less than stellar friend in return. In fact, when my sister found out she told me to be careful and not let this person shit all over me again. One of the reasons I could not deal with this person was because they were a drunk. When I hugged them today, they had already been drinking (it was noon). Of course if I had said something I would have been told that it was their birthday that's why! As they left, they said this "Stop by my house and visit! I don't go out drinking anymore." Their daughter was with them and added, "Ya the only time we go out is when I insist!" All I could think is, "You don't need a bar to get drunk." And they are one of those drunks that insist you drink like they do and, frankly, that would kill me.

I haven't slept past 5:30 since I got to Tokyo. I have no idea why; it's not like any person, noise, alarm etc. is waking me up. I've gone to sleep as late as midnight and as early as 8. Sunlight usually doesn't do crap for me.

Either way, it's not at all an annoying habit to have gotten myself into.

Yes there are dozens of JP XI guides. I have several and would kill to be able to read them! They seem to be much better laid out so I'd like to confirm that the information is up to par.

I just got a JP 20th anniversary Final Fantasy book the other day. It lists all the JP FF games and has Amano artwork. Then there are interviews and photos of people that worked on different FF's in the back. Of course, can't read them and really really want to.... lol

I imagine the only real use one could gain from those guides would be the artwork, if any, that may be contained therein. For an ever-changing game like an MMO, the online wiki/forum model seems to be the only way to do things.

We had a super fun fire alarm scare at work today. Oh, did I say super fun? I meant super lame!

What's weird is that I was thinking earlier this morning about what would happen if the building burned down, and telling my friend/coworker (who is out of town) about the building being gone. Three(ish) hours later, the fire alarms go off for real and we all have to evacuate. Unfortunately, we were ushered back into work, but this is not the first time I've had a fire alarm related premonition.
