What, to stave off your death from Soul Eater abuse? Like that's going to matter; taking a mage sub would probably cut your damage far enough back anyway. Would be cool if RDM were a melee job though, I guess.

So this morning I was standing by my kitchen counter and I glanced out the window. I have 2 side by side windows that face a church and a group of old men came out. (Must of been a "Plan Your Funeral In Three Easy Steps" meeting.) So one guy makes it to his huge Lincoln and whips out his keys. (Why is it old men drive big ass cars? Are they compensating?)

Well he sets off the alarm and stands there looking back and forth between his key fob and the car. (I started laughing at this point.) No matter what he did, he couldn't turn the alarm off or open the door. So old man #2 comes wobbling over, takes his keys, tries to look at them, stops, shakes his head, gets out his glasses, and tries again. (Ok, I'm laughing harder at this point.)

Well he gets the door open, pats old guy #1 on the back, and starts to hobble away. So old guy #1 opens the door, looks at his keys, presses a button, the alarm goes off again, and he closes the door. (I'm starting to tear up here because I'm laughing so hard.)

As soon as old guy # 2 hears the alarm go off, he turns around and says "Don't close the door!" He then shakes his head and totters back over to old guy #1. Well now! What do we have here!? Old guy #3 breaks off from the group and dodders over to #1 & #2. Just as #3 makes it to them, #2 gets the alarm off. They all stand there and discuss the issue and #2 hands the keys to #3. #3 looks at the keys, then holds them farther away and looks again, then holds them at maximum length and tries again. Then he gets out his glasses.... (Ok at this point I'm fully crying and laughing and need a tissue but only have paper towels.)

Now most of the old men are walking over and #3 gets the door open so he starts waving them off. The icing on the preverbial cake was when a random old guy shouted out "How many old men does it take to open a car door?" (At this point I laughed/snorted so loud that the old guys heard me and turned around. I had to drop down behind my counter because I was in my pj's still.)

Just got my Logitech G500. This is a beast of a mouse, and I love it. I've tuned the weight to be as heavy as possible, and it should improve my micro in Starcraft 2.

Had an interesting weekend. Got up 6:30am on saturday and picked up friend from Grimsby at 8am, went paintballing at a site 30 miles away. It was my mates stag do so the organisers decided the overalls he should wear were pink with bunny ears Friends activities | Facebook We did a good days session (I was so knackered by the end of it!) have many bruises but my spinal armour stopped me getting serious damage. Had 6 hits to my back...

Bday on sunday was quiet, brother forgot (again) and yesterday had many friends over as it was bank holiday here in the uk.

Today its my collegue and secretarys last day and mine will be in 2 weeks Still waiting to hear about this job down south from the architecture agency.

Feeling a little desperate.

I had 2 job interviews last week, still no answers. Someone just criticized my curriculum and I'm feeling shitty as fuck, trying to think about what my options are to turn this around, I can do anything but at the same time I feel like I'm powerless to even start.

Almost loled.

My curriculum is fine from a customer's point of view IMO, but not many of my works' design really stand out, and they aren't really trying either because I'm a developer, not a designer. So this person that told me to remove some of my works from my folio only told me that based on design aspects.

Here I am, developing complete frameworks and content management systems, and what I'm getting is... "that is so 90's, but I liked the font".

Wat?

But yeah it still makes me feel shitty.
