        I think I'm gonna finally give in and pre-order a third gen kindle.

        CJK support, improved PDF support, web browsing, huge battery life, support for mp3 playback, $140? Might be cheap and useful enough for me to finally give in. There may be a lack of cheap books in the kindle store, but there's plenty of pdf and other ebook formats I've got an interest in that I can obtain elsewhere.

          So I went and picked up that collection of Japanese Magazines. Might I just say holy fucking shit.

          Most of it is cooking books, followed by fashion and other such womanly things. Somehow only three English cookbooks got tossed in there. The magazines and cooking books are in three piles, each of which goes above my knee. And even better than that, there were 13 actual novels tossed in there (well, some of them are split volumes, but still), including quite a few I immediately recognized as Murakami.

                    My dad is here, and we got all my stuff into my apartment (with the help of some friends). He was using my laptop and instead of just closing his tab, he closed the whole fucking browser, and when prompted to save, he (of course) didn't. Fucking ....

                    Of course this happens before I remember that I need to download and install Session Manager to Firefox.

                    I must have had about 50 tabs open that I did not want closed. I just didn't think my dad (or anyone, for that matter) was that dumb.

                        I'm at work again, on a Sunday, and the boredom is sure to follow. I like this job, but I hate working on the weekends. It triggers some sort of loathing deep inside me. I really need my weekends.

                                I didn't. I came out of the bathroom and he was on it. Which pissed me off in and of itself, but he's my dad and he just drove 1200 miles with a huge trailer full of my shit, how much of an ungrateful cunt would I have to be to tell him to gtfo my computer?
