My office overlooks the castle, with the cathederal towers in the distance, and the strugglers is our local pub for our friday lunchtime drink. I can see all 3 over my Imac at my desk where I am sitting now.

well, I could have made a topic for it, but this is more of a shoot the shit sort of things anyway.

Is anyone buying into this scandal with Al Gore. I'm not a fan, but for some reason, I'm just not buying the claims that he forced himself on a masseuse. The timing after his divorce, I dunno, just seems rather convenient. Maybe I'm just still looking at him from when he was VP, but I always think of him like Kenneth the page from 30 Rock, just this awkward kinda guy.

I dunno, maybe he did lose some screws after the 2000 election, everyone did He got a little fat and started to seem actually funny. Even so, I just don't see him doing what's been alleged.

Maybe its because it so much easier to believe it would be something Bill Clinton would do. This masseuse even kept the her "stained" clothing like Monica Lewinski did. Seems to weird to be true, but the lady sounds sincere. I dunno, so weird.

Well, websense has kept me off of the site at work now, damn that site...

I've beat Dragon Age Origins twice now, once with a warrior, once with a thief. I beat DoA with the thief carried over, it seems like thiefs the ebst way to go. You can load all attributes into dex and have him dual wield daggers, have 3 slots in each hand to augment, and still be able to open treasure chests and find traps.
I bought Assassin's Creed 2, which is a very fun game. I think I'm almost done with it. Does anyone know is Venice the last city? Anyways, I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Great graphics and gameplay.

What's the next game that would be good to get? That Red Dead Redemption looked pretty cool, and then theres the GoW series I could get for the PS3. Startwith 1 and go through 3. Man I can't wait for FFXIV to come out. Anymore news on the release date? We are still guessing it will be in December yes?

Ok, just need to vent...

When you aren't healthy it sucks to do everything they tell you to do, and have your life so restricted, and then have other issues pop up to cause even MORE restriction!! Honestly, I'm in such a foul mood. My cholesterol is high, my vitamin D, K, and B1 is rock bottom, and my thyroid is f**ked up! Honest to pete I have enough health issues CAN WE STOP NOW PLEASE!? My g/f had thyroid issues and after they fixed it, she gained a crap load of weight. I have to keep my weight stable because there are guidelines you have to follow for a transplant. Granted I'm not listed yet but I don't want my kidneys to take their last pee and then be too fat. Honestly, I feel like I'm buried up to my neck in shit in the bottom of an outhouse and Life has just come in with the morning paper to finish the job. /sigh

I remember when my son was little and would get into all kinds of trouble that would land him in the emergency room. One summer, it happened so often that they separated us from him and called social services because they had to rule out abuse. So lots of stitiches, some broken bones, and he's finally grown up.....but its funny how some things never change! He came home from a 4th of July party like this:

Injury

I guess his friend was walking along side of him with his dog. It was on one of those retractable nylon leashes. The dog took off and ran behind my son and pulled the leash out to its limit. Then his brain dead buddy let go of the leash, and like a retractable tape measure, the cord zipped back inside while sliding across the back of his knees. Extreme rope burns in a very touchy spot. So Doctor TheMom to the rescue cleaning the shit out of them and bandaging them up. Some things never change...
