Thanks, hopefully it will go ok tonight. Just bitten off a contractors head the bracing is sagging on my building. But other than that its going ok.

(Building is a football pavilion were building) heres a rough 3D render of the building


Before the roof and walls have gone up fully so you see the gullwing shape of the roof.


The different textures on the walls including a polished block that reflects the surroundings at eye level


The wide corridor down the central spine of the building with the rooflights flowing down like foot prints in the ceiling. The right wall will be a polished cream block and the left a smooth finish cream block.


The building is environmental with underfloor heating, solar panels, air source heat pump and rainwater harvesting system.

It compliments the store building we completed last year which has a sedum planted roof.

Day has been made interesting and amusing by a comment from one of he builders were working for:-

"You can tell that fat ginger haired lesbian bitch (hes refering to the planning officer we just met on site) that the garage is in the right position and if she thinks she can tell me it is in the wrong position she can fuck off"! will ahev to wait till tomorrow to word it in a way that is much less offensive

the solar panels are on the roof, its a metal composite panel due to the rainwater harvesting. Yopu can;t harvest water froma grass / sedum roof without spending thousands to bleach the water as it runs off yellow, you can imagine flushing a toilet with yellow water it jsut isn't done lol we have a 10000 litre storage tank for the harvested water from the roof to supply all the toilets and urinals in the centre and also a pipe to the store building to water the sedum roof through the installed drip feed system.

It will reduce water consumption for the building by a quarter over its yearly usage, during a deluge when the tank is full it is then overflow piped to a large soakaway which can hold 100,000 litres of water to slowly soak into the ground over time.

Heres a piccie of the floor plan as you can see lots of angles, including the path for disabled access due to the slope up to the building and requirement of steps (straight path to entrance). It has a terrace in the bottom right for the club room.
