I didn't really want it so much as I wanted the experience of having eaten it.

One of my coworkers told me that her husband and her son both tried the grilled Double Down and said it was the best thing since sliced bread..err chicken. I know the fillets are good by themselves though, I've had them once or twice.

On another note, I got a chance to check out the Sony Ereader this weekend. I'm very impressed, but not at the price tag. $300.00 CDN for it seems a tad steep. Hopefully I can check out the Kobo sometime soon since that's only 150 CDN.

I own a Sony eReader and loved it. I don't really use it any more though since I have my iPad. Mine has a memory card expansion slot so you can put pics on it (though they only show in b&w) and can play music or audio books too. It was nice to plug in the headset, set the ebook on the nightstand and let Bach lull me to sleep.

So had a final today. Taking on the Doubledown was a celebration of the end of the term.

Already had a 4.0 in the class before sitting down for the final, have for about a week, just went for shits and giggles mainly. Turns out I could've gotten a %55 on the final, an F, and still gotten %100 in the class; wouldn't at all be surprised to find out my grade for the class as a whole is %105.

Damn that felt longer than three months.

I am so fucking tired and it's only Monday.

Saturday night I went out with my guy (not really my boyfriend, per se, but we are seeing each other without being "official" so I just call him my guy for now) to a party, and I lost my beer pong virginity. Of course we lost, and I got trashed. But I had a damn great time, and thanks to the fact that I'm a smart drunk, I remembered to take Advil before I crashed and I did not wake up with a headache.

I did, however, wake up at 1 PM on Sunday, which pissed me off. I had laundry and cleaning to do, and we had a date to go bike riding at 6 with some friends of his. I managed to get all that done and eat, and we went on the bike ride and I rode 10.5 miles - they rode an extra 2.5 back to the trucks, but my body was just done. I tried to push that last little bit, but I hung out at the next parking area over, and waited for them to finish.

Bad idea. This is Florida, so of course it rained, and not just any rain, it was torrential rain complete with thunder and lightning, so I'm freaking out because I'm terrified of thunderstorms but I really had nowhere to go except to just wait for him to come to that part of the trail to get me (seriously we did not think it was going to storm last night) so by the time he did, I was soaked and freezing and my nerves were on high alert since there were some fairly close lightning strikes. I was starting to think I should have attempted the last 2.5 miles, but I don't know if I could have done it. I was at muscle failure as it was, barely made it to where I actually stopped.

Anyway, so I get home, peel off my wet clothes and get a (blessedly) hot shower and relax, and go to bed around 11. I expected I'd be able to sleep considering my drunken night, my long bike ride, and a little bit of sexy fun time in there somewhere. (And I am only pointing that out because it is more energy I spent in that short period of time thus making me more tired, not just to shamelessly point out that I'm getting some.) However, I did not sleep. I was up every few hours. My brother texted me at 1 AM (asshole) ... and then I was thirsty, so I got up and got some water. Then I had to pee. Repeat from "... " about four times throughout the night. I finally woke up around 4:30 and could not get back to sleep, no matter how hard I tried, but didn't need to get up until 6, so I lay around in bed hoping I'd just crash for a little bit longer. Nope.

So I got to work today, which was uneventful, but I basically zombied my way through the day. I had to put up with this annoying woman who really has no clue how to do our job. Well you guys know me, I have no patience for mediocrity. Either do it right or get the fuck out. Unfortunately, that's not my call, but she pisses me off because she's fucking useless. They got rid of a lot of useless people this month, so I'm hoping she's next. So lack of patience + lack of sleep = goddamn I'm ready to go home.

But I decided since my phone was all wet yesterday and basically fucked, I'd go get a new one, and change providers while I'm at it, so now I'm the proud new owner of an LG Rumor Touch. I wasn't too keen on the touchscreen, but it seems you can't get phones without it nowadays. I'm 29 and technology is outgrowing me. Damn.

So yeah, now I'm lying around on my ass with my laptop and trying to stay up a few more hours so I can go to bed at a normal hour and hopefully get the right amount of sleep so I can managed to make it through tomorrow without an exhaustion migraine.
