That's how I kill bugs too.
I usually grab any type of chemical spray and douse it.

The only things to withstand anything, are fruit flies or those little Nat flies... And where they came from? No idea.

Fruit flys come from fruit and veggies that you buy. The eggs are on it so thoroughly wash all fruit and veggies when you bring them home.

FYI, if I had cockroaches I'd move....no shit. I lived in a trailer with an infestation of cockroaches and rats. You had to sleep with the lights on but that didn't stop all the cockroaches from crawling on you. And we used to peg the rats with bottles as they ran across the living room for entertainment. Yay, for my childhood!

This is Florida, it just doesn't matter where you live/work, there are roaches. And I hate them, it is one of the few things I hate about living here because I never once saw a cockroach until I moved out of Pennsylvania.

The roaches are only slightly less annoying than my roommates, though, so I put up with them for now. Once I move out and I no longer have roommates, cockroaches will be my #1 annoyance.

My moms house used to a have a small infestation. She called them waterbugs, but no, they were cockroaches. I was sitting on my bed one night typing away on my computer with the lights off, then all the sudden one crawled down my head over my face on to my stomach and down my leg. I freaked out!
Then another night, I had just gotten out of the shower, so I was sitting on my bed naked when I felt this tingly crawling sensation on my balls. So i grabbed down there and felt the little bitch in my hands so I threw it against the wall and killed the little fucker..

I mean killed.. I felt so violated no lie.

Oh god that is exactly how it is, feeling violated ... hell just the fact that one had the audacity to enter my space is violation enough. And if one even comes within a few feet of me I start to freak out, I don't know what I'd do if one actually crawled on me, I think I'd probably shower for several hours. Roaches are the most disgusting creatures on the planet.
