      lol I was once like you Feba, but then I had an epic crash on my video rips I use for AMVs. After that I said the first chance I got I was going to start backing up my system. I now have a 3TB 4-Bay HD enclosure that I'm going to use to keep backups of my main computer. This thing can hole up to 8TB of hard drives and there is another one with 8 bays that can hold up to 16TB. (Now why anybody would need 16TB of space, unless they were running epic RAID , I have no clue.)

        I have a 1TB fan-less backup drive that I bought for sub $100 a while back, hasn't failed me yet, although the name escapes me at the moment (something GreenDrive?). Both sides of my Macbook Pro (OSX and XP) automatically back up to it seamlessly through eSata. It's necessary due to all the recording sessions I need to store... if I lose any of those I lose money.

        It helps me sleep at night.

          I heard this as a lead in trailer to an AM radio show from California (John Phillips Show, I was just tweaking around the internet], and I poked around mash up sites to find out who did this and this G3RSt guy does some of the most competent and interesting stuff after I started poking around on his site.

            Back at work after taking a long weekend.

            Smashed my shoulder while snowboarding, good times.

            Driving through mountainous passes during a snowstorm is no fun at all.

            Month end is coming, I hate it.

              With the month end also comes April Fools. One year I staged a breakup with my girlfriend for April Fool's day. Considering we're no longer together, I will have to come up with something different yet equally as shocking.

                              We had a bunch of plans for people for April Fool's day at work, but it turns out some big big big BIG bigwigs are going to be touring our department on Thursday so it wouldn't look too good for us to be fucking around. It was such a big disappointment, because I had some really great ideas.

                                All of the best April Fools pranks are things which are slightly believable at first sight, but progressively sillier the longer they go on. Telling someone you gave them a disease is just being a dick.
