    Same, but I'm going to watch Alice in Wonderland in 3d. Sucks, was going to see it in IMAX 3D, but they've already taken it out and now IMAX is showing "How to Raise a Pet Dragon" or whatever. So... Going to watch it in regular digital 3D. I hope it's still good. Anyone seen it? Good? bad? Poopy?

      May want to try an adapter so you can connect it to a desktop, and see if just maybe it can be read as a slave.

      I also remember a few weeks ago there was an article on CNET about data recovery. Try searching for it and see there are any free programs available. Though a program won't help a hardware issue, so if it can't be read...

        It's definitely a hardware issue. What's really irritating is that usually with the click of death, you can get one or two more boots out of it. This thing was playing music, started clicking, froze and that was the end of it.
        I use a Mac because I'm just better than you are.

          Saw it in Real D the weekend it came out and it was good in my opinion. I felt there probably could've been more to it and it felt lacking in the end. Maybe it was the PG rating?

          I noticed that it wasn't playing in IMAX today so I told one of my coworkers who hadn't seen it and she was pissed lol.

          Problem with 3D is that I think now we'll probably start seeing alot more movies in 3D pop up. Mainly because IMO Avatar made a rediculous amount of money with it sort of setting the standard, and now with 3D TVs and 3D Blu-Ray coming out, there might be a decent market for it. (Read: 3-D Gimmick) Clash of the Titans will be out next week which was not originally made to be in 3D, but was added after the movie was finished (if I heard correctly) so we may see more of those coming about as well.

              Ya had this happen to my Alienware laptop. $5000 laptop and after the 5 year warranty was up.......*POOF*! I diagnosed it and it was the motherboard so I get on the horn to Alienware/Dell and they say that they don't have any parts for that model anymore so they can't fix it. SERIOUSLY!? Assholes...

              Saw my sister at a family get together that weekend and her daughter had a Vaio that she was selling for $150 so I bought the piece of shit......and I do mean piece of shit compared to my Alienware. Still haven't fixed the other one either...

                      Na, I upgraded a 80gb drive to a 250gb when Snow Leopard came out. Still, I don't want to spend ~$70 or so again.

                      Hitachi just approved my RMA. Woo!

                        I am quite happy. Finished my finals, all A's. Now I am just waiting for my super secret code to apply as a ATC-CTI graduate. Last I spoke to Curt, which was after the final, he assured me that I'm in good standing for a letter of recommendation, which is required for the super secret code, so yeah!

                        I forgot to give him the bottle of BBQ sauce that I got for him though. I'm giving it as a bit of a joke gift, I'm gonna give it to him and tell him that it's to, "Make chewing out on the students more palatable"

                          Alice in Wonderland is awsome! It was actually supposed to be dark and a little bit scary as the actual writer wanted it to be. So, Tim Burton did a good job plus keeping is Disney friendly!

                            I feel the same way. At first I wasn't really hyped about it, but about time I saw the 2nd trailer I felt alot better about it. I remember seeing somebody post on youtube "The Kraken in CotT makes the Kraken in PotC look like a jellyfish." or something silly like that lol.
