                Reading the Ars Technica gaming forums makes my head spin. I mean, I'm a massive nerd as it is, but my level doesn't even come CLOSE to the kinda things they talk about in GESC.

                    I got the 5 year no faults warranty on my laptop from Bestbuy. When my laptop dies, or when it gets clsoe to the five years, its going to accidentally fall out of its case and get run over by a bus. I'm going to take it to Best Buy and get a new one for free under warranty. /hurray

                          I remember one of my friends had a method for getting one last read out of a harddrive. As I recall it involved sticking it in a freezer. You might want to look into that if nothing else works.

                              It works for some drives and sometimes it doesn't work at all. I've tried it on 2-3 different drives and none worked any better lol. I also tried SpinRight (i think that was what it was called) on one of the disks, it seemed to work but did nothing for the data recovery.

                                So, I am sitting at work and I am bored... Yeah this is too fun sure wish I could do something else right about now but it is what it is... So, I think I am going to go watch Hot Tub Time Machine tonight... I haven't decided yet but I think it will be good!
