    Argh!
    I hate being sent out onto google to find things that aren't there. Seriously, if that one guy would just return my email so I could get login credentials I could access the documentation and have this whole thing sorted out in no time, I'm sure of it.
    But no...I get to go round and round in circles with google trying to find information that I'm only going to find in the documentation because this software isn't widespread enough for there to be anything really detailed out there yet.

      I use a Mac because I'm just better than you are.

              My folks recently pitched the PC I started it on, but not before I got to play Marooned on Mars one last time. Ah, such fond memories. I really do need to get around to finishing Keen 5 and 6.

                Do you know where the heck I could find copies that run on XP? Valve finally released the King's Quest collections through Steam which was another old series I loved, but there hasn't been any Keen re-releases yet. Sad.

                  I don't think there are any releases that run on XP. The copies I have are over 15 years old. At this point your best bet is probably to wrestle DOSBox into a submissive position and force it to behave long enough to play Keen. I've been dreading it, but now with no native system to return to I'll probably end up having to configure DOSBox if I ever want to go adventuring in the Bean-with-Bacon-Megarocket again.

                  The only other option I can think of off the top of my head is that there was a Gameboy release of Keen 5 or 6, I can't remember which.

                    Ah good ol' DOSBox. How I hate and love thee at the same time.

                    There's another old game I was looking for recently... think it was called Jazz Jackrabbit? Ever play that one?

                      No, it's not ringing any bells for me. The closest I've played is Reader Rabbit. God that was a horrible game in retrospect.

                              In the era of sending out computers with shareware games, yip. I remember playing the first x number of stages on my copy, anyway.

                              Descent was much cooler.

                                Descent was disorienting. I swear I played through most of the levels with the floor where the ceiling should have been.
                                A good game, but really disorienting.
