I refused to buy it on Blu-ray, but I know I have to watch it again so I can give my true opinion of the movie. The first time When I watched it at the movies, I was ok with it up to a certain point and then I hated it with a passion. Went on sale on blu-ray at best buy recently for extra cheap, so I snagged it.

That movie was utterly ridiculous. It's been so long since I've seen it that I can't even remember why. All I remember is that liquied adamantium injected randomly into the body turns normal skeletons into solid adamantium skeletons? Is there adamantium bone marrow, because I think marrow is pretty important.

Yes, that is by far the only unbelievable thing in superhero movies.

I think the part that really got me was when Professor X showed up out of nowhere at the end. I was like WHERE THE EFF!

I didn't like how they tried to make it look as if Cyclops had a big part and he was barely in the movie. I'm serious though, I think we had enough Wolverine in Xmen 1-3. Origins Wolverine 2 is in the works though... IMO they should've done the Magneto movie first.

Yes, that is by far the only unbelievable thing in superhero movies.

I understand the traditional humor in comments like this, but once you start down this train of thought, there's no stopping:

Wolverine was killed by a Microsoft Twinkie, which was stuffed with Jupiter. Luckily, a time-traveling water buffalo was able to climb a tree and invent Bill Nye.

It's too bad "Speculative Fiction" has become something of a derogatory term, as it's really a wonderful merging of exactly what makes Science Fiction good: given certain aspects of the universe were different than we normally observe, speculate on how events could feasibly unfold.

Watched Wolverine a 2nd time yesterday and had to SMH at it. I still think it could've been so much better than what it was.

Not quite. Superhero movies work on the absurd, that is what they are. It works because the whole universe is impossible, but has been crafted in a way that all these impossibilities fit together to allow you to suspend belief to enjoy them. If it doesn't, it was poorly written.

To turn around and say, 'all this other shit I can believe but this one thing is just too damn far,' means either the story was (as already stated) poorly written, you don't like this type of fiction to begin with, or you're an idiot. There really is no hope for you with the latter. The other two should be stated as such.

So I've been doing this lame receptionist part-time temp job for about 2 months, mostly as a favor for my temp agency since I don't neccesarily need to be working(g/f and I were forced to move back in with my mom when I lost my last job, so living rent-free).

After a few weeks they decided they wanted to give me a real(er) job, I have to build membership databases(which I've never done) with some software I've never heard of, but I worked some nice perks into my contract, my own office, unrestricted internet access, a much, much stronger PC than they were going to give me at first, and part-time hours while still keeping health benefits. Starting Tuesday I will once again be Officially Bored At Work again.

The software is called Avectra netForum I believe, it's a membership management software(I'm now at a company who various non-profit and academic organizations outsource their management to). And we just got a foot of snow here, miniskirt season is over.

I didn't need to see the full version of Wolverine to know there would be problems. Even within the continuity of the X-Men movies there were enough inconsistencies to make me not want to see it.

When you went against continuity from the start, its better to stick to that path or just do a complete franchise reboot.

Considering the continuity of the movies was so terrible, I would have just went with a franchise reboot, premature as that might look.

Learned something new yesterday - George Newbern voiced both Superman in recent animated features. I knew he did Sephiroth for the movie and the most recent appearances of the character elsewhere, but that's two impressive characters to have on your resume. The biggest goody-goody superhero of all-time and then one of the most insane and evil Final Fantasy villians of all time (though Kefka is still supreme in that category).

I would have just went with a franchise reboot, premature as that might look.

They were talking about doing X-Men: First Class awhile back, so that may still be on the burner, I've also heard a possible reboot of Fantastic 4. I think the next bunch of Marvel related movies might determine what we see from them in the future. Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, and Avengers are probably definently in the next 3 years. I've also heard about Wolverine 2 (Which the last I heard depended on the Wolverine DVD sales.), Luke Cage, and Deadpool. (I think Robert Downy Jr signed on to do 3 Iron Man movies, so there will probably be a 3rd.) Oh yeah...Spiderman, forgot about him.

I think I heard DC was probably going to reboot Superman too after the Superman: Returns mess...

I didn't think the Wolverine movie was that bad, i found it entertaining. It was probably on the bottom of the marvel movies, but still entertaining. I'm really looking forward to Iron Man 2 and the avengers.
