During my stroll in the mall during my break today, I see a T-shirt that sorely needs to be added as an option to buy in Final Fantasy XI. It is a picture of the Pillsbury Dough Boy with the caption: "Poke me and die."

Oh lord we had a taru on my server that would go nuts if you poked or slapped her. She became quite famous for her rants to people about it. Of course, that had the opposite effect since then they just did it more to make her go off. lol But then again there were a lot of jackasses on my server.

I don't mind poking. The shirt just making me think how it is often the greeting of choice in the game and how fun it would be to have a shirt like that. What I need, in the game, is a t-shirt that has a picture of a football with the captions: "This is not a football."

Just ordered a few more movies to talk about soon:
Coming Soon- A horror movie directed by the same guy who did the original Shutter and Alone. About a guy who works as a theater projectionist and promises to provide a bootleg copy of a film called "Vengeful Ghost" for drug money. Things get strange when he thinks he is beginning to see the ghost in the movie beginning to appear around the cineplex.

The Touch of Fate: Da Yu- A youth named Da Yu runs away from home after troubles in school and with his distant family. He's taken in by a thief and his son. The two are distant from each other and Da Yu slowly begins to gain a new appreciation for his life after being forced to live like a criminal.

Beat Demon's Souls as a melee-only character, and it was a huge pain in the ass. I definitely don't feel any more awesome for doing it.

What's worse, is that I wasted 5 colorless demon's souls on upgrading the Penetrating Sword, because I thought it could be pretty badass. Well, it can't be, because it isn't. What a waste. All the unique weapons are pretty crappy, which is disappointing. Even unique shields are lame.

The upgrade system kind of bugs me, because it pretends to offer a lot of customization, but with a little understanding of game mechanics you realize there aren't many options that are truly useful. Basically, you MUST choose something that reflects the stats you've chosen or else you'll be underpowering yourself. Once you've maxed the weapon out, the only way to increase its power is to increase its respective stats, which I also find a little annoying if you decide to tend to other stats.

finally quit my extra part time job and rejoined the gym

i put on 20 extra pounds in 6 months ... god damn computer jobs and bad eating habits ><

need to get rid of this gunk fast... i'm hating myself for letting it get to this

I hate my family.

I have made one major decision right now, based on how my family treats me:

I will never, ever, for anything go back to Pennsylvania. There is absolutely nothing there. Nor will I go to any family gathering such as weddings, etc. I will, from now until eternity, claim lack of funds as a primary reason for not visiting. And before, that went for just my mom's side of the family, but now, it's both sides of the family. If people want to see me, they can come here to visit.

I'm fine with this, and honestly, I doubt anyone really would even notice and/or care.

Thing is I felt really bad about missing my cousin's wedding this past summer. She and I were really close growing up. But now that I think about it, I bet I would have felt out of place and awkward there while the rest of my family treated me like I don't belong.

Yeah, I'm so glad family is turning into High School 2.0 so I can relive all the social awkwardness and inability to fit in.

I hate to talk about the nice thing my uncle did after all this talk about crappy families. But the other day, he gave me a modified DVD player capable of playing basically all DVDs, since he upgraded to Blu-Ray. So that's opened up my options for non-NTSC, non-Region 1, non-Region Free movies now. Here's another one I want to watch.

God Man Dog- A drama comedy weaving together 3 different groups of characters with a format similar to Love, Actually or the Thai film I recommended in the movie thread called Hormones. But rather than being about love of any sort, God Man Dog examines the intersection of religion (especially Buddhism and Christianity) and class difference in Taiwan. The three different stories involve a couple mourning the death of their baby, a man struggling with alcoholism, and a truck driver who befriends a homeless teenager.

Love Actually was one of my favorite movies...

Ketaru, here's a movie for you, i cant remember if I've ranted on it yet, but... THE BLIND SIDE. this is my favorite movie of the year, in fact, i really need to sit and think hard of a movie i saw that was better than it. It was sooooo good. Sandra Bullock is the shit in it. I want a wife just like her. I'm calling it now. The movie wins best film of the year and she wins best actress. Well, i wonder if its too late for this year, might be next year. Anyways AWESOME FREAKIN MOVIE! I could go into greater detail, but I think it would be better to just leave it a that and let it unfold for you by itself.

Hmmm, I haven't seen God Man Dog yet. That's why I'm posting it here. It's not a recommendation until I actually see it. Maybe you can go to the movie thread and give The Blind Side a proper review there so more people may go there to look at it. Besides, that thread needs a good kick in the ass from somebody other than myself anyway.

oh, i see. i pretty much made my review here. I didn't know much about the blind side going into it, and i think thats why it made such an enormous impact on me. I was seriously choked up for 50% of the movie. It might seem weak to you but my review is, best movie of the year, sandro bullock is the shit, you need to go see it. again, imall about reviews, but i think not knowing much about it, makes the impact that much more.

I'm going to see ninja assassin tonight!!! Can't wait!! Going to the 810 showing to watch it in digital projection... I heard the story line is ok, but the graphic violence and fight scenes are epic. A friend told me the fight scenes and violence was like take 300 and multilpy it by 100. Can't wait.
