    I'm not lookin' forward to my next several hours of FFXI play. I just got to 11 THF/WAR. The next 2-3 times I log in, I'm going to be solo'ing in La Theine Plateau. That's pretty slow going as a THF. The fields of valor help, with regen and bonus xp, but for the most part it's pretty slow and tedious.

    Looking ahead, I feel like all I'm going to be doing for weeks is level grinding my way to 30. I want to play BST and RNG, but the road to 30 seems so long and boring.

    Anyone have any ideas for stuff that is worth doing at these levels? I know at level 20 I'll do the chocobo thing but that is also an annoying process that takes way too long. Maybe I'll see if anyone in my LS wants to do some rank 1 Sandoria missions with me...

      Yeah, low level missions are a lot of fun if you have a friend doing them with you. At level 20 you should start harassing people to do Garrison. That was probably the most exciting thing I've done at low levels. Reminds me that I need to go farm a Garrison pop item tonight while waiting for stuff on the AH to sell.

        Ooh, I didn't know what that was but looked up Garrison and read about it. It does sound fun. I'll bet my LS mates would be up for it once I'm lv20. About how long do you think a Garrison would take...for instance, the level 20 capped Garrison in West Ronfaure, one party of 6 people? (Assuming someone already has the necessary item).

        Most of my play sessions are 1-2 hours. I rarely (once a week at most) get on for 3-4 hours at a time.

          Based on my last wipe...er, attempt, I would say 30-45 minutes once you get everyone together. Getting people there will be the hard part.

            A garrison would probably take around (After everybody is gathered together and what not) 25-30 mins depending on how good your luck is. You'd probably want between 14-18 people in an alliance to do it. You may be able to do it with less, but I know that I've never won myself with less than 14 people. It might actually be easier now with less people especially with DNC and /DNC being possible.

              Yikes. Maybe it's not my cup o' tea. I tend to like smaller group activies. I'll mention it to my LS and see how likely it is that I could gather that many people.

              I wish this game had more stuff to do solo or with a partner. I kind of miss City of Heroes. When Champions Online comes to Xbox360, I may have to give up ole' FFXI once and for all.
