Doesn't exactly look like it was the cleanest place to begin with. If the business even care, or had any say, I'd imagine having all of the surfaces freshly painted was more than enough to validate whatever annoyance it might've been.Comment

So, this weekend my GF came up from Radford U. to Gaithersburg/Germantown to see her younger wcousin test for his black belt at a WTF school. It's a five hour drive, one that she doesn't like to make all that often. The test was lackluster, the highlight being watching her cousin break three consecutive boards with padded kicks on his first attempt, all after the two instructors expressed an abundant amount of doubt in his ability to do so. I didn't have much confidence in him, myself, but I think his instructors were more surprised than I was. Not a single kid failed the test even though not a single ounce of technique was displayed in that building, that day. They went through the Tae Gook series of forms, which I think is Korean for Holy Fuck This is Boring. After that, they did the most pointless self defense I had ever seen. After some board breaking, they sparred which wasn't any less disappointing to watch. You can really tell where Bruce Lee is coming from after watching something like that.
And, that's not even the worst part of the day. Afterward, my GF and I are following her brother and older cousin in an SUV ahead of us on the way to Bowie, MD. We're on the 270/495 spur, stopped in traffic caused by an accident ahead of us, when a woman slams into the back of us and throws us into her brother's SUV ahead of us. Well, the Cavalier that slammed into us has only a few scratches, as does the SUV, but my GF's Corolla's front end was smashed in. That, of course, says more about the sturdiness of the SUV than the crash itself, but that bitch told her insurance company that somebody had initially hit her, and now they're not providing us with a rental. She had to take her brother's SUV for the five hour drive back, and now he's reliant on what few cars the family has. I kind of lost my entire weekend to dealing with insurance companies, concerned family and friends, and trying to find her a ride back to school.Comment

My Mom's Hard Drive on her computer died an epic death last night. TOD was around 10:00P EST. It is undetermined if it was a Homocide or a Assisted Suicide but it was sad nontheless. The funeral will be tonight when I get home from work. We'll slide it into the cardboard casket that the new Hard Drive will be in. Rest well old friend.
lol That Hard Drive had to be at least 7 years old and it was a nuisance to get in there in the first place.{New Sig in the works}
