I'm talking about the line of six eyes on the way to Dynamis Lord. There are lots of ways to pull it, we just have half the BLMs on the top 3 eyes, and the other half on the bottom three eyes, and they time nuke -ga. I've seen other linkshells do sac pulls. A few people die, but we never had that much trouble even with 20 people in the zone.

So you don't even do Dynamis Lord? Wow, I thought everyone kills him now.

Oh that wall, I thought you mean the other one near the rdm brd and war demon nms that pops like a trap. We just have 3 rdm/drks stun 3 eyes and run back at the same time i aggro and sac the lower 3 eyes.

Ok, work is boring... I find the following less boring than work.

I saw this formula on an economics website:

GDP = C + I + G + (X-M) [C: Consumption; I: Investment; G: Gov't Spending; X: Exports; M: Imports]

Some people would draw the conclusion that increased consumption will increase GDP. Anything wrong with this?

According to the formula, no, but I can't comment on the validity of the formula. Similarly, according to your formula, increased values in investment, government spending, and exports, and decreased values in imports would also increase GDP.

In related news, I have decided to look up more scholarship stuff. Fastweb (Yaaaaaaaaa...eh) has pretty in depth questions to see what scholarships you're out for. Now I already knew they had some odd ones. Scholarships for people of above-average height. Scholarships for people with the last name Van Valkenburg. But I was still surprised by one of the checkboxes.

"Bisexual [_]".

Now, it's not so much that there are scholarships out there for bisexuals. That doesn't surprise me much at all. What makes me think of it as strange is that you simply must wonder how they would check something like that.

Consumption in that figure is a red herring, because it potentially double-counts Imports, sometimes even when it makes no sense to count it even once. i.e. Wal-Mart imports a stuffed doll from China, someone buys it. Under this formula, it would count twice toward GDP, which is ludicrous, since the nation produced nothing in that transaction.

If the figure for Imports was limited to only imported raw materials, and the Consumption figure was limited to only end-user purchases by consumers, then I'd be happier with the definition.

No idea on prices without logging in to check, but I'm on Kil'Jaeden. Bunch of Hades FFXI people there, on both sides. It's a PvP server though which can be frustrating but that's where my friends went.
