So I went to get a state ID. Went well, apart from the whole "my picture looks like a mugshot" issue.

Also, registered to vote. Take that, democracy!

I don't think you're allowed to not look like a mugshot anymore. At least here, you're required to have a neutral expression on your face and such. (not for a state ID, but similar sorts of things, I think)

bad news; feba has twisted his ankle, and will be using a walking stick for at least a while, because feba sucks at limping. Yes, I know, how the fuck can you suck at limping. Still, I do, and this is preferable to looking like a goddamn ballerina. I mean, I took ballet classes, but that's entirely beside the point.

Good news; the walking stick is literally a stick, complete with bark. feba is beginning to enjoy the style, and the potential ability to beat the shit out of people with a slightly nicer thwacking stick.
