              Well crap, now I'm sick. I've got no time to be sick, I just, JUST got on top of my school work after going to Sakura con, and I gave up this weekend's visit to the grandparents/big family shindig that I really wanted to go to JUST to get ahead of my school work. Plus some tests made it rather difficult to manage anyway. And now I'm sick?

              To say that I am unhappy is a serious understatement right now.

                  Oh my GOD.

                  So I'm taking this Religious Studies course for the writing intensive credit and today we were talking about a presentation someone did on how different various images of Jesus are depicted.....

                  .....and this 40 year old guy mentions Urotsukidouji, Legend of the Overfiend. He commented on how it was full of religious references and blah blah blah and was laughing after class how I was the only one who knew what he was talking about since I almost screamed in terror at the mention of it.

                  If you dont know what Legend of the Overfiend is, it's basically a hentai OVA where demons rape little girls. I've never watched it (and I know eople will jokingly say "yeah right" but I really have never seen it) but I've heard of it, and he explained to me how at the end basically a demon comes and "destroys Tokyo by splooging all over it with his humongous penis." (his words). He also informed me he owns all three DVDs from the series and that you can get it from Netflix. He also said it wasn't considered erotica in Japan and instead they view it for it's religious references. As a friend I told this to later said, "Yeah I bet they do that for bible black too."

                  Kill me someone, please, taking my own life is blasphemy, but I can't go on living. ;___;

                      That was the second anime I'd ever seen, after my roommate found Vampire Hunter D and we decided we wanted to see more of this stuff. Neither of us had any idea what it was about until he rented it and showed it while we had another friend and their girlfriends over.

                        Urotsukidouji. Yep, a classic, sort of kinda.

                        And it's true that if you are able to get past the demon sex it has all those religious themes going on. A probably impossible task to ask for from younger, more impressionable audiences.

                        So you seriously need to be mature enough to look at it that way. Which would probably put talking about it in class pretty much out of the question.

                          yeah it was Urotsukidouji *edits post* I didnt really wanna type it into google at work to make sure I got it right lol.

                          And yeah, I understand there really are religious references in it and I could see the guy's point. But, like you said, it was in a class in a university in NORTH CAROLINA lol.
