Also, I sold my DS Lite for DSi monies, but now I'm seriously considering buying a PSP. I prefer the DS hardware, but PSP software looks mighty tempting. But then there's DSiWare. PSP has Every Extend Extra, though, and MGS...

No way, I'd say keep your old Lite and get a PSP, but since you got rid of it: get both
The PSP is too big and too heavy to be a good portable device but that has that amazing screen for video and games. I was getting a PSP-3000 this December but since the economy when nuts and the BRL-USD exchance ratio says "don't import now, moron" I'll have to wait a bit holding my box of Lumines that I got some months ago

Depending on how picky you are you might want to rethink your PSP 3000 purchase:

Sony: Sony Has "No Plans" To Fix New PSP Display Problems

As far as the PSP being too heavy to be a good portable device, bs. I enjoy my PSP a lot. I used to use my video iPod for movies but now I use my PSP for movie watching and it absolutely rocks...I can even read my animes (and that says a lot for someone my age!). I've recently been enjoying Mother 3 and Star Ocean on my PSP. Before the Nintendo people start throwing stuff at me, I own multiple DS's and enjoy playing them too so don't beat me!

Well mine didn't start off too well. I went over to my mothers and threatened to jump off the roof of the tallest building downtown if she didn't borrow me her car. I needed it because I was spying on my husband and sure enough on my 30th birthday I caught him screwing another woman. So ya...the 30's just weren't all that great for me.

(Fyi, no DSi isn't out yet in Japan but will be in time for the Christmas season. I believe it comes out in Nov.)

ah I am so sorry, kind of sounds how my teens are going...tried to kill myself at the beginning of the year..cuz the person I dated for 3 years I found them cheating on me...and yeah it just hurt a lot, but I guess not as much as a marrige. But, I hope things are going well for you now! =)


I am thinking of just buying a DS I don't think I need a Dsi..with a camera LOL!

I wasn't planning on buying a 3000. Right now, I'm looking at the Daxter bundle. Largely because even though I want black, that fingerprint magnet plastic drives me insane.

Thanks for letting me know. I heard about the bad interlancing but have not yet read about how Sony is "ok with that". Funny how I hate every video game company that I also love. Except Cing.
About the size e weight it's definitely how you look at it, but like I said, I find it great for video and games. I was getting a modded one for the RPG books in .pdf and the browser in june but end up with a EeePC.

I still own an original PSP and don't really regret it. Although it's currently just being used as a MP3/Video/Emulator until a new game comes out, I still have lots of fun with it. Generally with games I alternate between that and my DS Lite in regards to when I play em, since usually by the time I'm done with some PSP games a couple of DS games come out that I'll get my hands on.

And with the exception of a few games, I generally only ever touch my PSP and DS Lite when I'm en route to class, between classes, or during classes(if its a boring lecture). Usually when I'm home I have my PC and consoles. Unless it's something like MGS Portable Ops, then yea that game is getting played.

Not gonna bother with the new DS btw. After the DS Lite I promised myself not to buy another handheld rehashing, and that's all that Sony and Nintendo seem to be doing nowadays with their handhelds(although at least Nintendo ones seem to be a bigger improvement IMO).

Don't you mean "Venom"? (he is the black spider man in the movie and the shows that takes over spider man.) LOL I doubt they would run you over, unless some idiot forgets to turn they lights on.

But yeah I don't really see the difference with the DS and the DSi (accept for the camera, and it being a little smaller.) But why would you want the DS smaller anway? Its not really heavy at the current moment, and adding a Camera for it is kind of pointless, if you don't own a Wii. (I do own a Wii still think its dumb though I have a Digital Camera I happy with that.) I don't understand why people have to buy like 1 thing that like 5 other things that they own does the same thing. If you have a cell phone, and a ipod there is no real reason for buying a iphone. If you have a ps3 no reason to buy a Blue Ray disc player. (which would be dumb anyway because they cost the same and the ps3 you can play games.) But yeah, I just think technoligy is just getting kind of dumb. I have a cell phone, ipod, computer, ps2, Wii, and I am getting a DS Lite soon. (Most people would just say buy a iphone or something.) But in all honesty, I only use my ipod in the car, never really put in my pocket, and my cell phone is in my pocket at all times. I also don't need to browse the web on the go, if you really can't wait to get on the computer when you get home that is just being inpatient lol. Also, sense I will be owning a DS Lite, I will be able to play on the go, I most likely wont take it everyware either. Ok well, I think you all get my point, just thought I would saying my opnion on that issue.
