I never cared for beer, myself ... I prefer mixed drinks, generally sweet ones. As for getting seriously drunk, I drank to the point of throwing up once. I decided I didn't ever want to do that again ... and I haven't.

Yes, there is actually. Its the top shelf shit that I could never afford when I was young. LOL I always said I was going to buy a bottle and drink it but I never did and now I never will. LOL I get drunk on fumes now.

I killed a man seven years ago. Actually it was a smurf. You could tell because he was blue and kept complaining about a guy named Gargamel. I think I killed him because I had just woken up from a bad dream about giant mutant blueberries and mistook him for one. I made gold out of his carcass and promised never to tell the tale to anyone.

I was at my friend's house today, and she was messing with her myspace, I just came to pick up my controller I left there overnight cuz we usually bunk at eachother's place during bigger events like Sea.

But anyway, she was taking one of those personality quizzes on myspace or through myspace, "Which FFX character are you?"

I don't know what the point of those are, people just keep redoing them until they get the character they want.

I told her that and she agreed, she just wanted to be Yuna but kept getting Rikku multiple times...people just lie on those until they get the one they want.

Whats the point in that? yeah... i just wanted to talk just to talk....

It was to do with my last job and what a drunk driver did.

Shit like that sobers you up right quick. There is this single curve road near my house that people like to cruise around at high speeds. When I was 19, I was heading home after working at the bar and there was a car in front of me. Just as the car in front approached the curve, I saw headlights coming around it and they were very erratic. I slowed down, the other guy didn't. There was an accident and I ended up on the opposite side of the road in the ditch. I got out. I went to help and got to the guy that was in front of me first. His car door was open with his body hanging out and I knew he was dead. His head was hanging by threads. The other asshole was trying to get his car to start and get out of there. The guy that drove the car in front of me was a salesman who had been gone for a month and was finally on his way home to his wife and kids. The other guy was a drunk that was drunk and had 5 other drunk driving arrests on his record already. He got 4 years in jail but got out in 2.

My husbands wake up call was when I left him because of his drinking. He's been a recovering alcoholic for 25 years. Some of us have "triggers" and some of us don't. It doesn't really matter what people say until that person experiences their "trigger". Sometimes alcohol is such a huge part of an extended family's life that drinking to excess is totally acceptable and even encouraged. It is in my family. In my family, they give beer to infants to "quiet them". They have 8 yr olds mixing them drinks and letting them taste them. Imagine a party with 20 people and the 8 yr old gets to mix and "taste" everyones drink....exactly thats going to be one sick ass little kid. I remember holding my sister up in the shower while she puked her guts out and I was only 6 and she was 12. I remember people standing in the bathroom door laughing and saying how cute I was being. It makes me sick to think of it. Actually any part of my childhood makes me sick. lol It took that accident, my marriage going down the shitter, and finally being shown the light by a therapist to finally see that alcohol creates many more problems than its worth.

Try pulling out 5 dead kids from a MPV after the vehicle was ploughed into by a drunk van driver, only for the sober parent driving the caqr that got hit by the drunk drive to survived, just and had to deal with the fact that they lost 3 kids of their own and 2 of friends, they were returning from a happy day at the beach. The drunk driver was charged with dangerous driving and got just 3 years in prison and banned form driving for 12 months and made to retake his test, he said some sob story about marridge breakup etc and agreed to go on an alcahol course. So much for justice for the 5 dead kidsm I doubt he woulkd have got off lightly in the us.

It still haunts me today seeing the kids blank experssion and open eyes as I had to remove their body, minus legs from the crushed remains of the car. I didn;t sleep for 3 days and was off work for a month after having to go through counselling.
