Honestly, you're probably better off without the blurred images in the background. I think it detracts from the inline images you have in your news updates. But it's ultimately your call.

Yeah, the background is actually taking multiple attempts to load the entire thing, but just the texture background without the images on top is a big file, is there something other than .jpg that might work better for it? As far as the border, that's an issue I'm trying to figure out, the main problem is that I don't see a way to contstrain the content to the limits of the background box. I could extend the image, but that would make the file even bigger which I don't think is the way to go.

As far as the background images, I'd like to keep them, but trying to come up with ways to not have them taking away from the foreground. If anything I'd prefer to maybe just have 1 background image at a time and have it cycle through them at different page loads, our banner does that but not sure if I can make the background image do it.

Maybe a rotating banner with images that change every time you refresh?

The banner rotates already, it's just the same image each time b/c we haven't made multiple ones, I'd like to make it so that the background image of the main content box did the same but I don't know if that's possible.

PvP servers suck as a first time horde being new to horde faction and pvp server compared to a normal as alliance >_>;
I just want a damn red defias mask <_< That so much to ask? Apparently so, getting killed by all the allies near by D:

And, i really don't feel like being on ffxi lately too ;x

Most servers have more Alliance on them than they do Horde, so that is your first problem. If you really want the mask, try to do it in the early morning. Most of the hardcore players have gone to bed and will not be up for a few hours
