I'm out on vacation from my usual vacation here in OC. For the first two days I was out on the beach with the family playing in the water, but the ocean is very unforgiving. You never really realize the attraction of hanging out past the breaking point until you're upside down, and naked on the beach. Even when out there I ran into a few larger waves that decided to break as I attempted to float over them. Sleeping at night afterwards was difficult; everytime I closed my eyes I felt as if I were on the ocean again.
We decided to head out to Cape May in NJ, which I still feel like was a bad idea. The ferry there was old, but the ferry back was in better shape. Unfortunately the captain hit something as we were leaving the dock... he hit it twice. Oh well. The entire time it felt as if we were about to do a barrel roll.
