    Re: An interesting read.

Weird. That's not the first Lojban reference I've read this week.

I edit wikipedia, so I hear about Lojban like the average person hears about the President fucking something up.

Just funny how you (meaning me) never hear about something, and then twice in one week.

The mention of drugs really seems to get right under your skin.
It does. Not everybody is as smart as you, and I think if these people had the capacity to completely understand what they're doing they wouldn't do it. They don't, and they need to be protected from themselves. They're like lemmings.

Although the revolution is supposed to go hand in hand with drugs, when things get really hard, they'll act only as a wasteful destraction.
They seemingly clearly understand the negative side-effects that could hinder the progress of their hippy-soldiers, yet their movement is drug-friendly. When things aren't really hard, in what ways will drugs act?

            I'm hemorrhaging sanity.

Basically, what I think they're saying is "If you have to do drugs, we aren't going to stop you, but you really shouldn't.", which I think most of us here would agree with.

What they're getting at is the obvious: Drugs will dull your sense while under the influence. They key in on that idea by warning people to be responsible. Going to a rally or protest, whether it may or may not become violent, while high is only hindering your cause. Wait until later to either celebrate your victory, or humbly accept your defeat.

People can be under the influence even while not directly under the influence. Drugs aren't only bad for you when you're trying to destroy the system.

Dak, nobody really cares. You don't like drugs. We get it.

                      Re: An interesting read.

I read a tiny bit of it, not much in the mood for reading. But I did find it interesting I may not agree all or any of the things that he said, yet it is interesting. Just like It interests me to learn about things I don't care for or religions that I don't really believe in. I like learning about what other people believe in. I have to agree with you Feba. Tomorrow I'll read the rest of the replies on here. Reading hurts my head right now >_<

I like your avatar Dak, can't remember the name of the comic its from though. My friend has a book that has all of those comics in it and I really enjoyed them. Gonna have to buy it some time.
