“I can think of a solution to the voting machines debacle. It can be done too. If the voting machines are already rigged and they can be hacked as easily as it seems, then I hope someone comes along with the bright idea of making the machines come up with such an impossible win (say they show that Ghengis Khan wins by 99% of the votes) that the elections will have to be held again, only with paper ballots. It’ll be proven once and for all that they are RIGGED AND RIGGABLE!”- fierywoman

I don't trust any candidate that runs on a platform of transformation.

Btw, you don't need sophisticated viruses to pull this off. My friend was just telling me you can produce the same effect with a small child whose superpower is to control machines.

                      Paper works fine.

This bright little idea called a "Butterfly Ballot" doesn't.

I mean, they have arrows.. It's not that complicated.. But I understand that a lot of ppl in society are retarded, so the faults are expected.

They have arrows, but also if you read the candidates names there's a little line waiting for you when you finish that leads right to a hole also. The little arrow, in comparison, isn't visually associated with its option at all. It's badly designed. I would've figured it out, but I'm not surprised a lot of people didn't.

We don't need machines, hanging chads or elderly vote counters to muck elections up.

That's what the electoral college is for.

Exactly, the amount of people that voted for Buchanan was much higher than there should've been.
