I used to when I dated some psuedo artistic girls and I was skilled at making sketches. Eventually I left the girls, stopped making art as I shifted more into college and got extremely tired of the gigantic load times and problems that deviant art had at the time, ending my reign at deviant.
I knew a lot of friends (girls) on it too 4-5 years ago. I thought, and still think, it's more suitable for showing off for-fun arts, not really for serious artists (altho there used to be a few great ones putting their stuff there like Anry)

transform a yellow spot into the sun.

I have some old stuff on feba35.deviantart.com ...I should play around with GIMP sometime.
Gimp is soo confusing @_@;
And, I randomly update my own works from time to time when ever I get the time to scan some sketches or finish some edits of them on photoshop at school or if I'm still on the trial versions >_>;;; 20 days left for CS3 ;_;

Eh, Photoshop is confusing too, at least GIMP is free. Also, it isn't in a single window, it's a PITA on your desktop, but if you give it it's own workspace it's much nicer to work with.

I have a gallery there, but one of three things have prevented me from updating it:
1. I keep playing FFXI. lawl, obvious.
2. My 2-year old Laptop's LCD Backlight burnt out, so I'm not sure if I'm able to get that fixed.
3. My brand new PC is not installed with Photoshop and whatever else I use.
