My friend is not allowed to ride his bike anymore, now that his wife recently gave birth to a boy. He doesn't want to sell his bike, so guess what?







This is standing in my garage, a Harley-Davidson FLHR Road King "Screaming Eagle." It's in perfect condition, I've been driving for at least 4 hours today.
And it really drives awesome!
I know what vehicle i'm using for my next vacation, hehe.

It's from 1996, has about 18,000 miles to it's name.

This is "my thing".

Dayum, that's a gaudy shade of maroon. It might just be the lighting, but I say paint it nice bright firetruck red or violet There is no inbetween.

Paint it? It's an original color used a lot on H-D's.
Add: Well, not exactly my most favorite color either, but definetely not going to paint it.

I've never quite gotten why people like fat motorcycles like those. <_> Not saying that it's ugly, but I guess not my style? Or is it an adult type of thing to like "choppers"?

Just because it's a popular color doesn't mean it's a good one.

Personally, my mom's been riding bikes ever since her midlife crisis, I kindal ike her Honda Rebel, but i've never really been a fan of motorcycles.

I have a Suzuki sports motorcycle too, I could post a picture.

Well, even if I really didn't like it, I wouldn't be able to do anything about it, because unofficialy it still belongs to my friend. I promised not to sell it, because he will either take it back in a couple years, or they sell it whenever they need the money (badly). In some language, they call it "An apple for the thirst", meaning something that is saved up for when it is needed.

Wish I had friends like that, we're all broke college students hah.

But, with gas prices going up so much, and me only driving a few miles to work, I'm going to be layin down some cash on a 99 Kawasaki I've been eyeing in my neighborhood. Wasn't laid down or anything, as with your case, wife is makin him sell it.

No i'm out of gas, I have to get a jerrycan with gas at the gasstation hehe. I'm lucky I made it home after riding today.

Which one of my mom's friends has. Like I said, don't care for motorcycles.
