    Is he standing!? I smell inaccuracy! I could of sworn Tony Stark was handicapped.

      I heard that glowing thing on his chest makes him walk without the suit. Im not too familiar with the Iron Man story though. Anyone can verify that?

        He was never handicapped. He had an iron chestplate designed to prevent a piece of shrapnel he'd received in Vietnam(or Gulf War in modern version) from traveling to his heart and killing him. The result was a bad heart condition where he could not survive without the chestplate. As far as I know he later had a heart transplant to correct that problem. Though with all the weird storyline changes comics go through, they might've updated that into something else >_>

          If memory serves me correctly.

          Tony Stark had some shrapnel or something that was threating his heart. He developed the plate (the thing in his chest) to help protect it and also keep it beating. Originally it was designed to work only when he was in the original Iron Man suit. He eventually made modifications that allowed it to function with out him being in the suit.

          Maybe......at least that's what I can remember right now.

              warmachine does not come into the story until MUCH later in his career

              that glowy thing looks really goofy and fake on his chest

                    they already cast a actor for warmachine in the movie. the main actor from Hustle'n'Flow

                      the casted Rhodey Rhodes, he was stark's friend a long time before he became war machine. they probably won't introduce him (as war machine) until a sequel
