  • From nOOb to nerd...

Here is the supposed life cycle of the internet user.

I found Stage 2 to be particularly applicable to my signature. I would like to think that any band on myspace feels as shameful as I about using it in the first place, but they most likely don't.

    As you should.
I use a Mac because I'm just better than you are.

People are just too lazy these days. Booking agents for clubs would rather look at a damned myspace page than to have to look through a press kit. It's crap!

The first time you see something you really wish you hadn't is when you lose your internet virginity. It's not an exact equivalent to losing your real life virginity, as despite the embarrassment and fumbling, losing your virginity in the real world is still sex and therefore potentially enjoyable. The electronic version is more like losing your virginity to a four-hundred-pound meth addict in an alley filled with hypodermic needles.

        ...yeah thats about right.

Lol, actually I never heard of Myspace till the media started making a lot of noise about it. Even then I didn't look at it till I had a dear friend direct me to his myspace.

Only reason I have one now, and still a site I'm not impressed with. Used it to play around with CSS scripts, that was fun but started becoming annoying when I started finding the design flaws in how they setup the interface to look.
