Latest Waste of time/Useless thing

Because some of you (and you know who you are) are constantly talking about the latest and greatest thing you've done, I think it's time where those of us that don't do much get a thread!

Myself, I'm trying to learn some programming stuff, but I spent about an hour making a script that would write the lyrics to '100 Bottles of Beer on the wall'.

Oh, and yesterday I spent about 30 minutes talking to some RMT that had the nerve to take my MSN address off of some forum... before I told them I haven't played any MMOs at all in the past couple weeks.

I'm apart of a debate team in my Eithics class, and I beleive niether my nor the other team is at all prepared. Each debate is supposed to be two hours long.

I took a full schedule this semester and decided half the time to not go to two of my classes. I then had to drop those two classes, losing my money and my time. Go me.

After tearing my home built, frankenstein media center PC apart for the 10th time in the past 2 weeks, I think I've finally got all the fans oriented correctly so my CPU isn't running at 65° C at idle.

Also started playing bass again for the first time in months...oooh my fingers hurt so bad, gotta build those calluses back up ^^

yes, I know I do. I should be clearer on that, I spent 5 minutes writing it, and about 45 making it not suck. Then I spent another 10 realizing that "...on the wall, ", bottles ," of beer." only says bottles when I read it, not when I run it (when you're sleepy, you tend to not do simple things, like read)

EDIT: And by not suck, I mean not repeat "100 bottles of beer on the wall, 100 bottles of beer. Take one down, pass it around, 99 bottles of beer on the wall" in a loop until I closed terminal.

EDIT2: oh, and it was python.

I died four times in pursuit of the ultimate - killing Maat. Luckily fighting him on your first job does not net xp loss, but the one time my husband and I ate dirt in the Temple due to a link, well, that hurt.

Not long ago I drove 8 hours straight (well more like 4 and 4 with like a 15 min break in between) to fix something that had nothing to do with me but that had to be done because it was important.

Yay for having the responsability of getting things done at work!
