I did drop it, but people who (1) never read the whole of the thread or (2) demanding apologies for things that are, quite frankly, none of their damn business to start with seem to want to keep the thread going.

Murphie has told me catagorically he will not be back here, and has in fact quit the game completely. How do I know? I have his account. Whether he wanted me to post it or not - meh. When it comes to this, it becomes my business.

BBQ - let me point something out to you. You abused a position of trust you were in. You sent him a PM, telling him you banned him from a forum for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. He hadn't done anything, by your own words, to justify a banning there. You then told him that he had no recourse for this. Where is your precious freedom of speech now? Because you threw it out the window for your own ends. Consquence was he felt he had no other recourse than the one you forced from him.

Yes you have mood swings and medical problems - don't hide behind them for every single mistake you make. Believe me, many many people here will have problems as well. Mine would make your hair curl.

And I note you are STILL AVOIDING the apology issue. Good job there.

I won't be editing the OP. I am still owed an apology for several things (Banning, Claims made about me targeting other members, Bad Mouthing me to admins of another forum, Obtaining my IP address through shady means - actually Jei and FFXIO need to apologize for that one too - and causing trouble in this thread, which has been nothing but reasonable and polite).

I gave Kirst my account several days ago (just for the month so she could strip him of wealth). So don't go thinking that this thread or BBQ had anything to do with it. But just because I wasn't playing anymore doesn't mean that I haven't been playing the game for nearly four years. I still have a lot to say about FFXI, and I really think this community is pretty awesome.

But seriously. Some of the responses to this thread (Calling for others to spam it in order to get it closed, because apparently not reading it if you don't want to see it isn't an option) are really disheartening.

I already apologized to BBQ. I don't owe him another one, especially since he hasn't apologized for anything he's done or said here.

Call my posting a PM unprofessional, cowardly, childish, whatever. But that doesn't make it so. You tell me you're going to ignore my responses, or even report me for them? You forfeit your right to having it out in a private venue. I'm not going to apologize for that.

I'm looking forward to the official apology from Jei as well.

i dont use the ignore function kinda like i have one person on my blist. guess what murphie i just bumped it .

edit: and if i wanted to have it closed i would spam random things about nothing close to the topic and would get other to help me.
