If I may speak for a moment here..
I watched Bush speak last night, acting like some animal that has been beaten and backed into a corner and who has now decided to lash out and fight.
And I couldn't help thinking..
Hey MISTER President, it's about DAMN TIME someone made YOU feel the way you've made the citizens of the United States feel for SIX YEARS.
It's about damn time someone made YOU feel pinned down and helpless, like the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan whom you have sent to fight your for-profit war. Too bad you don't feel the same sense of honor and duty to your country as they do, because your only damn loyalty is to the mounds of money you can line your already lined pockets with while they bust their ass and die for someone as filthy as you.
It's about damn time someone like Rep. Conyers, or Sen. Schumer, or Sen. Clinton, or Sen. Sununu, or Sen. Gordon Smith, or even that nutcase Rep. Tom Tancredo, stood up and did what was right by telling you that you, MISTER President, that you are not above the law regardless of how much you and your corrupt mafia of plutocrats like to think you are.
And frankly, isn't it about damn time we as a nation once and for all stopped denying what we all know needs to be done? Isn't it about time we stopped these jackholes from ruining OUR NATION and OUR REPUTATION in the world? We can't go outside our own borders without ridicule, animosity, even violence thrust upon us because of how these people have acted in our names.
Perhaps if we did something about it, the rest of the world might respect us again.
