Rule Set: 3.5, with some house rules, especially from Unearthed Arcana. Almost all WotC sources(such as the Complete series, Miniature Handbook, and mechanics of Campaign Settings) will be allowed, and I'm pretty open to anything.
If you are not familiar with DnD(or even just 3.5), I'd be more than happy to introduce players into the game and I'll be extremely supportive. All that is required is you obtain a 3.5 Player's Handbook(I don't care if you buy it or pirate a scanned PDF off it) and read it until you understand the bear basics.
For further assistance to all players(even the new and rusty)... check out the online SRD: http://www.d20srd.org/
The game itself will be held on these forums. Dice rolling will be done on another site(there are ton of resources for this that are made for these games). Usually the way these things work is that there is an OoC thread that deal with the basic questions and "sick leaves" of the game and there is a Game thread, where the action happens.
Posts usually describe actions taken, with character speech written in a different color than black, and OoC chat(like dice rolls or just very basic questions) in (). Most games require at least 1 post a day from every player.
I'm making this thread to see if there is any interest from these forums. If you are new, but would like to learn, do not be afraid at all.
Based on how popular this is, I'll then make a requirement thread(where I will pick 4 to 6 people to play after they craft their character using rules I list), then make the two threads to actually play.
I'm currently in bed at a hospital, so there will be a small delay.
