    Feeling lost

    Right now I'm feeling completely lost. My interest in FFXI is at an all time low and I can't bring myself to log into WoW. I want to play an MMO, but i'm just tired of WoW and FFXI. I just log in and it's like, hmm what haven't I done that might even seem slightly interesting, and then i can't think of anything. There's gotta be some other Medieval type MMO, that i have't tried yet... but then i go down the list... DAOC - did that for 2 years, Lineage 2 - why did i even play this, Ragnarok was fun when it was free but paying for it just didn't seem right, Everquest 2 - just couldn't get into it, EQ 1 Did that for far too long, UO first MMO i played but it definitely didn't age well, and i just can't get into the SCI-FI MMO's like SWG, and EVE online.

    My thing is medieval style, but i'm tired of the grind. If I could find just 1 dedicated community in 1 of these games I'd prob play but, it seems like every guild I join is either social, too relaxed for my taste, Too Noob/end game mixed, or not feasible for my Timezone.

    What happen to the good ol'days in where I was a 50 RR6 NS on DAOC, or when PLD was respected on FFXI outside of HNM's, or when WoW and EQ didn't feel like a non stop grind...

    Welp i'm done being EMO now, although i still don't know what i want /sigh

    Try not playing any MMO for a while, several months even, and then decide what one seems to appeal, if any at all. If none sounds good... It's time to live in reality now.

      i think ameroth's advice is very good. take a break, you might have renewed interest after a while (that is unless something else steals it along the way -- hello FF12).

          Take a break, play Draken: The Ancients Gates if you can find a copy, one of the best PS2 games I have ever played.

            If its medieval you want, play FF9, or perhaps try fable the Lost chapters or even the new civilisations game that was released not long ago. A differnt gendre in gameplay may be what you need.

              PLAY FFXII, it just came out last week its kind of midevil/future..but eh its still good even though it seems like a one person FFXI at times.
