Seriously - I am a mod on my ls forums and on FFXILJcommunity. It can be tedious getting rid of spam bots. During last maint, I got rid of over 30 bots to our ls forums... most annoying. Most of our private areas are filled with stupid junk.

To tell the truth I wouldnt want to be a mod, I really dont even see the point, you are like everyone else accept you can ban people, and lock forums and or threads, or cant you do that? But yeah like I was saying, doesnt really seem to be any really stupid people on here, guess it makes your jobs easier lol...

Partly because it is well modded, any idiots get stamped down at birth...

Mod well, and it makes your job easier imo. Certainly it has been the way with the FFXILJ community - we have avoided all problems that the old community had by a) having more than one mod, and b) just keeping on top of things before they get out of control.

The superior modding on this site is why I like to come here. You hardly ever see ad/spam bots or idiots posting things. When you do, they are gone really fast. There may not be as much action as some of the other boards, but if the extra activity is junk, I'd rather not.
