From what I read, Japan has been holding a fighting tournament called K-1 for a couple years now. The rules are almost like thai kickboxing, except no knee and no elbow. And Buakaw has been the champion of this tournament for a while.

Lol, did you watch the Fight Science? They tested TKD, Kung Fu, Muay Thai, Ninjutsu, and Boxing.

Muay Thai and Kung Fu in the test only was able to deliver about 600 pps with their most focused on punch attack. TKD and Boxing got around 900-1000 pps with their most focused on punch attack. Ninjutsu got a whopping 1400 pps for their version of Hammer Fist. Literally fatal because the force can collapse the ribcage piercing lungs and actually strike the heart with enough force to stop it. It was different then Muay Thai's knee strike in that the force was a lot more focused to a single point.

In kicks though Muay Thai scored 1600 pps with their most focused attack the Knee Strike. TKD scored 1300 pps using a side kick, and 1500 pps with a spinning back kick. The other arts was 900 pps or less.

Then they tested speed Kung Fu and TKD were only styles to achieve a speed of 4x faster then a viper strike. TKD won on re-action time averaging around 0.18 second responce time (being that they reacted so fast it almost seemed like they were foreseeing the next target before it occured). Ninjutsu in the Fight Science proved themselves to be masters of balance, test showing were their center of balance was and how it's moving to determing if they'd fall and Ninjutsu showed having the ability to balance themselves matching that of Cats.

Oh, also forgot they did have Brazillion Jujitsu in there two. Not much impressive with punch or kicks. They however were very skilled at locking body parts if they get you to the ground that's pretty much it.
