Speaking of WoW... I was in gamestop monday and they had WoW for sell for 1.99 with the 14 day free trial. I bought one, just because, hey... 2 bucks, I can spare 2 bucks. So I tried it out, and actually... it's pretty fun. The only thing I have against it is the people. God the people are a bunch of ass holes. Every time I heard someone ask something in shout or general channel they'd get a response along the lines of "Fuck you" or "Your mother." I'm level 13 and havn't partied with anyone yet because everyone I meet doesn't nothing but bitch and yell at players. Definatly not a game I want to stick with.

Player 1: Can someone help me with Frostmane Hold?
Player 2: Fuck you you noob, the hold is easily soloable.

Player 1: How do I get to Ironforge?
Player 2: Ask your momma, that's where I banged her last night.

The first day I was playing, I actually had this player (who I assume was a bot written by someone) of a female gnome follow me around and constantly saying lewd sex terms to me. Was actually really funny when a Troll attacked her and she stated screaming "Help!! He's raping me!!"

LOL @ PvP server. I tend to avoid them like the plague. PvP servers are usually filled with immature kids moreso than PvE servers. There was an unofficial role call and I think the average age between the populace on PvE versus PvP was about 10-15 years in age (Meaning PvE featured more older and mature players)

In one guild I'm in, there's a lot of parents Several moms in fact, that play the game.

There was an article recently of the people who play WOW. I think it was in some magazine I cant remember.
Most of them were professionals and even high profile guys in the tech industry. One guy there even met his client in the game.

Maybe on your server, but try checking out a few of the PvP I've been on. I think it's no coincidence you find a large number of "children" hanging out in SW or IF or OG on a busy weekend...

It really does depend on what server you're on. It also helps to just turn off general chat for crying out loud. Because yeah...there are some assholes that play.

I recently gave WoW another shot. It's still the same game I played before, which isn't really a complaint. If I had friends who played to do stuff with, I'd probably stick around and play it for a while, but as it is, I've already re-canceled.

Oh that sounds like BS. My guild on a PVP server had plenty of people of ages over 30 and the average age must have been over 20.

Plus there is the fact that PVE servers are fucking boring.
