    Re: LEAST favorite FFs?

    Least favorite huh?

    So far, I have played 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10.

All of them were great.....except 10.

Sorry, I don't accept having a fagish boy as the main character. That game was 50 hours too long.

ONLY redeaming factor was DRK Cecil (He has Souleater that hit every enemy on the screen for critical damage at sacrificing HP). Then he went PLD and became useless. Beyond useless.
The Playstation re-release was the original version of the game. The SNES version that we got was the remade second edition. Square got alot of complaints from gamers about the difficulty so they toned it down and then decided to translate the easier version for US release. I'd suggest picking up a copy of FFIV Advance, it's the wonderswan version repackaged with a slight graphical facelift and a better translation, plus all the goodies that were added on. Pretty easy to guess which FF is my favorite, isn't it? By the way, Cecil becomes a badass toward the end when he gets access to the better pieces of equipment (Avenger, Gorgon Blade, Ragnarok, etc.) Sadly, the supportive aspect of his character doesn't go anywhere. Cure 2 stops being useful like ten levels before he can even use it. D:

My least favorite is FFX. I hate that game. Everything about it was terrible, the voices, story, everything. My friends used to rave about how the Sphere Grid was great, but that's only because they abused the colosseum and got a crapload of sphere levels. I never had any difficulty playing through it, and I never saw a point in making my characters overpowered. I can easily say that's the only game in the entire series that I played just to get through it. I'd sit up with the TV on mute and had a few CDs playing in the background to break up the monotony.

After that whole thing I never bothered to play FFX-2 until one day when I was incredibly bored and had no other games to play. A friend stopped by and lent me a copy so that I had something to occupy my time. It was...interesting, but I didn't care enough about the storyline to really get into it. I unlocked a Samurai grid thing and stopped after playing with that for a bit. Never touched it since.

        Least favourite... Well...

        1: Liked.
        2: Played very little.
        3: Haven't played.
        4: Liked.
5: Liked. Kind of weird though.
6: Liked a lot. Story was lame. Fun to completely finish though. Liked how each character had a storyline, and how some were connected.
7: Loved. Story was actually immersible, and the fucking weapons were own. Graphics were bad though.
8: Liked a bit. Especially the run through the garden while the war was on. Hard to follow, though.
9: It was okay. Very short though.
        10: LOVED THIS DAMN GAME.
        10-2: Liked.

        Worst? Jeeze. I like them all though. ; ;

          X-2. I loved X but X-2 was such a dissapointment.

I don't know why people hate on IX, I loved it.

FInal Fantasy X was such a great game IMO. Had a good enough story to make me tear at the age of 12 or 13 at the end.

            Re: LEAST favorite FFs?

I can't really say I've never liked a FF game

1-I really liked the version i played for the psx, fun, good story, likeable referances to norse mythology (some of the towns names and a couple other things I cant remember)
2-I didnt really get to far in this one, but I liked most of the character (and most the battle musics were awesome)
3-never played but heard was good
4-One of my Favorites, a Story of Redemption, love, and betrayal. It was truely awesome when Cecil became a paladin. And the prophecy is probably one of my favorites to read through again and again.
5-I've gotten about halfway through this one, both times Ive played it. Though I considerably liked it more when I got a Fan translated version. (In that version Faris (the pirate lady) didn't speak like a pirate all through out the game, after she went away from her crew she stopped. But nooooo the SE translation.....ewww)
6-Another one of my Favorites, has a great story, that drew me in, that was complex, and each character had their own story. The music in this game was awesome. Dancing Mad has to be my favorite boss themes ever. And also was one of the first RPGs I had ever played with a heroine as the main character.
7-I liked this one, but not as much as I liked the others. The Story and music was quite compeling, but idk. I just didnt like it as much.
8-One that I thought was ok. (Or as my mentor put it, Man I thought Squall was the most awesome non-feeling killing machine ever, but nooooo they had to turn him into a pansy)
9-Vaguely played, not enough to judge though.
10-I liked this one alot more for some reason. Perhaps it was the characters. (though i didn't like Tidus as much as the other characters)The music was good, the story was very original to me.
10-2-Never played enough to judge, found interesting though

I liked em all enough to not be on my least favorite list. Though my brother could say differently he hates all the FFs but he plays this game more than me

I will live, and die by the Sword

              Re: LEAST favorite FFs?

Everything that didn't come out on 1) NES, 2) SNES, or 3) PC. For some reason, I never bought a PlayStation (often wish I had). My gaming experience went something like:

              1) FF1/YsI&II
              2) FF4/SoM
              3) FF6/CT
              4) War2
              5) Quake
              long interim of nothing...
              6) War3/Super Bomberman
              7) FFXI
              8) WoW
              9) FFXI
              10) WoW
              11) FFXI
... think I'm sticking with FFXI for good now, until something better, i.e. another SE MMO, comes out, or my life becomes too busy for MMO's (getting married next March).
