Yeah its kinda funny, I know alot of the older pop culture referances, but my friends always seem to go "??????"

Though I'm younger than alot of people who get those referances. I guess I know em cause I grew up with my Dad still watching strange shows from the 80s, and 70s.

Heck alot of my friends that are in to Anime today get most of the late 90s referances, but when I talk about anything outta the 80s or 70s (IE Voltron, Star Blazers, Dirty Pair, Dominion Tank Police, Akira, ect....) the crickets start chirping.

Yeah whenever I make a reference to something from my childhood like voltron or something and am met with the sound of crickets, it makes me feel a little old. I take it more as a reminder that the people I'm playing with aren't old.

If you were to choose an FFXI job in real life, what would it be? RDM definitely, it's a job that can be played offesive or defensive acording to the situation, like a midfielder in Futbol (read soccer ), and that's me.
