Any RL friends who play FFXI with you? A few. Two guys that play fairly often that I went to high school with. And another that was a roommate of mine (as well as going to school with me too), but he hasn't been on much lately due to real life.
Hobbies (aside from FFXI): Some books, watching movies/anime, random web surfing (if that's a hobby).
Favorite sport: None really. But I've been to like 20 baseball games when I was younger.
Pets? Mice, squirrels, even a bat have all been living in my room... I don't know how the bat and squirrels got in though.
Favorite thing about FFXI: The story on the missions, the warm feeling you get when you help somebody. That sort of stuff.
Least favorite thing about FFXI: Difficulty getting help when I need it.

If you were to choose an FFXI job in real life, what would it be? Took me a bit of thinking for this. If we couldn't have subjobs, I'd go with WHM. Being able to cure just about any ailment (except for amnesia and terror) would make it worth while.

If you were to choose an FFXI job in real life, what would it be? Tough one, since I've only played RDM, but I'm tempted to say Dark Knight or Paladin. Dark Knight b/c I've always struck out my own path and taken a somewhat cynical view of the world, and Paladin because despite my sometimes dark nature, I'm usually quite cheery and an up-standing guy.

Hoosiery really should be a real word... I grew up in Indiana, but I was basically considered to be in the "Chicagoland Area"... Chicago has always been less than a 45 min drive away, so it's always been a favorite playground of mine. Thus, I consider myself to be more from Chicago than from Indiana. Northern Indiana isn't so bad, but once you head south of Indianapolis, you really start to run into "Hoosiery" folk alot more often.
