    Re: Your dream home?

My dreamhouse would be one where i could sleep.

    I need my sleep.

And i cant sleep in my current house. Yep, i havent slept in 5 years. I need my sleep!

Seriously, its a overall quiet neighborhood and very good looking, and my house is pretty good looking too, but its a rural zone, everyone has a dog, (and i have 3, and a loud bird), its horribly hot, damp, and sometimes... i just want to sleep... ; _ ; lol

Anyway, someday if i find a dead rich man lying in the garbage ill use his money to build my own house. I do like the m-CH though.

I couldn't sleep in my first apartment. It was miserable. The walls were paper-thin, and I had neighbors who were either still in college or fresh out of it, and they would party nearly every night until 4 or 5 am. I seriously thought I'd go crazy.

          Re: Your dream home?

lol. I'm a pretty sound sleeper (especially compared to my parents, my father who goes berserk if you poke him, my mom who I've never seen actually sleeping)

Went to vegas a year or two ago, at the excalibur (on the strip), the sounds didn't bug me at all.

I don't mind city noise (I've lived in town for 9 years, so that isn't a problem), but I can't stand loud music or talking/shouting. It just drives me up the wall.

Jesus Ael! Do you ever stop posting!?

Anyway, I downloaded a program (and for all of you whiners, I already bought it a few years ago anyway, just lost the discs) to try to design one.

Last one didn't work very well, since it tried to snap everything around, and wouldn't let me place it how I needed them.

I'll stop posting when I'm dead. Or asleep, or AFK. I was barely here all weekend! However, I am currently bored out of my skull while working/browsing the internets, so there we are.

                  I was reading this thread.

For some reason the filter at work is now filtering ffxio. Really pissing me off, but I think they think its ok, since now I have full access to KI. I don't want full access to KI...too much drama and children bickering.
Anyway, what was this thread about again?
As for the whole "living off in the mountains", I've always loved being there. When I was younger my grandparents had a cabin in New Mexico, and now I have some good friends whose family has a cabin there. I really want to just live in the mountains, cut my own wood for fires and generally be left alone. I hope to have enough set up for retirement so when that day comes, I can spend most of my time up there with the hypothetical wife and kids and grandkids.
Nothing huge, rather have more land than more cabin, but nothing incredibly small either. Also, somewhere near a good trout river. Fly fishing ftw!

I don't want to give people the impression that I don't like the outdoors or the wilderness. Well, not so much the latter, but the former is just fine. I enjoy the country on the weekends. And in the fall. Any non-permanent stretch of time, really. I can't help it. I was born a city boy, and I imagine I'll die as one.^^

                            I hunt for food.

Well... more like.. milk. And its not very much hunting, more like giving the shineys to the NPC in return of the milk. Hey.. atleast i do see the cows, and the smell is very real. Thats as close to living in the wild as it gets with me. I bet most of you dont even get that close ;P

I actually would love to live in a typical japanese house with the paper blinds and the bed rolls and a rice steamer.. and if it can be on the top of a hill covered with greenery all the better.

Its a good client of mine that gave me permision to post it, he owns the house and wanted a nice place to relax, his back yard ends with a large retaining wall that overlooks the city, no houses are int eh way. The picture through the window is one I took on my digi camera in teh exact place the window is going to be, the wall is to be reduced and he will have a balcony on the end overlooking it, below is a small 3 storey flat development about 10m below so he is not overlooked or anything, I have enjoyed designing this project and it starts on site next month.

That's really cool. I'm sure it's going to be spectacular when finished.^^
